Over the past few days, yet another example of Iranian deception regarding their missile capabilities was exposed after the IRGC fired two missiles with enough range to hit Diego Garcia.
The missile had twice the range (at least) of any that Iran had claimed for its longest-ranged missile, proving that the regime had the capability to hit many European capitals.
The media was shocked. The Europeans were shocked. The Trump administration, however, was not. In fact, it had informed everybody long ago that Iran had that capability, but everybody chose to believe Iran because Orange Man Bad.
Seriously. The Europeans and the media preferred to believe the biggest sponsor of state terrorism in the world, because they preferred them over Trump.
Many in the US media believe Iran that no talks even took place. Trump has gotten the Iranians to fight bitterly among themselves, knowing they don’t trust each other. Meanwhile, much of the US media trust Iran’s denial of talks more than Trump saying there were talks.… https://t.co/UpTmWwb40E

Europeans have shunned the idea that they were at risk, and these countries are, for the most part, defenseless without US help against an Iranian attack. It's a replay of Trump's warning to Germany not to rely on Russian oil and gas; they laughed at him, and he was proven right.

BREAKING: After Israel claimed that the US was negotiating with Iran’s parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Iran’s parliament speaker denies there have been any negotiations with the US.
It appears that Trump and Israel may be manufacturing this claim in order to back out of Trump's threat to attack Iran's power infrastructure, or potentially give them more time to prepare an attack.
The same idiocy is being replayed this week over Trump's negotiations with Iran, after he delayed his deadline to begin striking Iranian power plants. Trump decided to give Iran another five days after they initiated negotiations, but Democrats and many in the media are claiming that Trump is backing down and lying about Iran wanting to negotiate.

Iranian officials have disputed Trump's claim that he is negotiating with high officials of the country, and the liberals say that this is proof that Trump chickened out and backed down after Iranian threats to retaliate.

PRESIDENT TRUMP ON IRAN TALKS: "My life is DEAL! That's all I do, is DEALS my whole life!" 🔥
"They called. I didn't call. They called. They want to make a deal. And we are very willing to make a deal. It's got to be a good deal."
"I think Israel will be very happy with what we have. We just spoke to Israel a little while ago. I think they'll be very happy!"
"This will be peace for Israel, long-term peace, guaranteed peace. If this happens, and I can't guarantee it."
"I think this is something that's going to happen. And why wouldn't it happen?"
"And it's got to be no more wars, no more nuclear weapons. They're not going to have nuclear weapons anymore. They're agreeing to that."
They like the Iranian's story because it fits the "Trump Always Chickens Out" narrative, as well as their "Iran is winning the war" claims. They certainly DON'T like the idea that the Iranians would lie, because that would be just another bit of proof that Obama's deal was a bad one, because you can't trust the Iranians.
TACO Confirmed it seems!

We reject the statement by US President Donald Trump that negotiations are underway between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Trump has not revealed with whom the US has been negotiating, but all the speculation surrounds the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, who is denying the reports that his is negotiating with the US.
That may be too cute by half, though. He has been negotiating with Pakistan and Oman, who, in turn, are likely passing on messages between Iran and the US. That way, Iran can maintain that no direct negotiations are happening while moving the diplomatic ball forward.
Iran denied President Trump’s assertions on Monday that negotiations were underway toward ending the Middle East war, with the speaker of Iran’s Parliament accusing the U.S. leader of issuing false statements to calm rattled energy markets.
Mr. Trump told reporters that the United States and Iran were engaging in “very strong talks” toward resolving the war that began on Feb. 28. He added that the talks produced “many, like 15 points,” of agreement.
But Iranian officials denied any direct talks with the United States, although they have said third countries have passed messages between the two sides. Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the speaker of Iran’s Parliament, said on social media that “no negotiations have been held with the U.S.” He added that Mr. Trump’s comments were an attempt to “escape the quagmire in which the US and Israel are trapped.”
Whatever the truth, the war continued to rage on multiple fronts. The U.S. and Israeli militaries said on Monday that they had carried out fresh waves of strikes on Iran, and Israel continued its offensive in Lebanon. Iran claimed attacks on Israel, Saudi Arabia and a U.S. base in Syria, though it was not clear if any of them penetrated air defenses.
It makes sense that Iran doesn't want to show weakness to the world, and that they wouldn't want to advertise that they are ready to crack. As you may recall, Baghdad Bob was declaring victory while American tanks were driving in the background.
It is insane that our media and the Democrats are so committed to the US failing in Iran that they would immediately rally around the propaganda being put out by Iran. It doesn't matter how many lies by Iranians are exposed; the true target of their ire remains Orange Man.
If they have to choose between the Ayatollahs and Trump, their choice is clear: the Ayatollahs.
