There has rightly been a tremendous amount of attention to fraud, at least among independent journalists. Pravda is almost entirely uninterested in anything that reflects badly on the establishment, so they have been avoiding the news like the plague.
Denver spent $684 million (tracked through city accounts only) on homelessness from 2023–2025.
— Charlie Smirkley (@charliesmirkley) March 17, 2026
The city moved people into $59 K/year hotel shelters, and total homelessness went up from 4,794 in 2022 to 10,774 in 2025. pic.twitter.com/7vkjxyy5Mv
But the fraud can only exist because the left has learned how to monetize suffering itself, using the same tactics that NGO scams do, parading around victims of some awful thing or another in order to raise money that never reaches the people in need.
Democrats have said more about $2 million for crab legs for American troops than billions of dollars of fraud in Minnesota.
— Bonchie (@bonchieredstate) March 12, 2026
Pretty remarkable.
Think of it as the Clinton Foundation strategy, where they raised billions to "help" people in Haiti, but somehow none of the money ever quite reaches the victims.
NYC “Nonprofit” shelter execs: what they make running a system that costs ~$82K/person/year:

Jack Brown, CORE: ~$1M+
Raul Russi, Acacia: ~$1M
Lymaris Albors, Acacia: ~$0.9M
Joanne Oplustil, CAMBA: ~$0.8M

Even before the fraud scandals exploded online, I had been railing about the Homeless Industrial Complex. Billions of dollars are spent every year to eliminate homelessness, and the only result is that the number of homeless people proliferates.
As Gavin Newsom announces another BILLION taxpayer dollars towards homelessness, it’s important to understand that previous Project Homekey investments like this Los Angeles Ramada Inn still sit vacant after 4 years.

We are 18 years into Gavin Newsom's plan to end homelessness, and he is still hawking the same tired promises he was long ago.
Gavin Newsom 2023: Here is my new $15 BILLION plan to solve homelessness, with Accountability at the core.
— Kevin Dalton (@TheKevinDalton) December 29, 2025
Audit: Hey, there is $24 BILLION missing and 30,000 more homeless.
Gavin Newsom 2024: Yeah, that audit didn’t surprise me.
Newsom Propagandists 2025: FAKE NEWS!!! pic.twitter.com/CwcI8HGSqH
Give us more money, and we will solve this! Not that the state or any of the governments in California can even tell you how they spent the last tens of billions of dollars. Audits show the money just disappeared.
Gavin Newsom "lost" $24 BILLION intended to fight homelessness.
— Matt Whitlock (@MattWhitlock) February 24, 2026
The money disappeared - there was no tracking, accountability, anything. Homelessness actually went UP.
So expect to see a lot more stories like this. https://t.co/ok9x37QW7u
The more you look into social service programs of any kind, the more you find that the money evaporates into NGOs that never do a damn thing except lobby for more money and register voters for Democrats.
🚨 BREAKING: Tim Walz’s Department of Human Services failed basic oversight.

Three separate complaints alleged an autism provider offered kickbacks to parents to move children into their program. They were all closed without investigation.
The feds need to step in immediately. pic.twitter.com/TGcossmRmm
By now, it's clear that everybody knew about all the fraud. And of course they did, because they were in on it.
How is a kickback not fraud? A new audit found that Minnesota’s DHS would not investigate allegations of kickbacks in welfare programs, wrongly believing it was not authorized to do so. The cases didn’t get referred to law enforcement either! pic.twitter.com/FWpgRju7gW

All that hospice fraud in California? You think that some bureaucrat couldn't figure out that 30 hospices were not really operating in one office building?
🚨 Here is the full 40 minutes of my crew and I exposing California fraud, Minnesota was big but California is even bigger... We uncovered over $170,000,000 in fraud as these fraudsters live in luxury with no consequences. Like it and share it, the fraud must STOP.

What about broadband subsidies? Even the most cursory examination of "connections" for underserved places shows that a huge number of them are basically shells, and the money just gets funneled into the pockets of Democrat donors.
After we pressed for answers, the price suddenly dropped by 90% to $6K per location … with the same provider and technology.
— Arielle Roth (@ArielleRothNTIA) March 10, 2026
That raised more red flags. So, we dug deeper.
Today, we’re approving $0 in federal funds.
My @WSJ op-ed: https://t.co/hUzO5n1SEt
Under Biden, projects were approved at astronomical costs with little scrutiny.
— Arielle Roth (@ArielleRothNTIA) March 10, 2026
That’s how waste creeps into billion-dollar programs.
Under Sec. @howardlutnick’s leadership, the Trump NTIA took a different approach: real oversight & respect for taxpayers.
Result: $4M → $0. pic.twitter.com/ERyx2IA6la
$6000 provide internet to an open field? A shed by the railroad tracks?
Ah, we have to help the underserved, don't we?

Suffering—real or imaginary—is a marketable commodity for the Democrats. It can be monetized for hundreds of billions or even trillions of dollars.
Imagine living inside the Beltway, where tens of thousands of people have "jobs" that are basically grifting off taxpayers and offshoring millions. Leftist elites working from home and going to yoga. pic.twitter.com/Y4B7FFJHnE

Who wants to deny Haitians who lost everything a second chance? Are you willing to let people die in the streets? Won't you help a dying person in their last days?

HOLY CR*P 🚨 Nick Shirley found a shady place in Los Angeles THAT TEACHES HOW TO OPEN HOSPICES
The fraud in California is so much worse than any of us realized@nickshirleyy
“In fact, in LA there's locations that will teach you how to open up your own hospice center. So I went there with a potential business partner to try and become a multi-millionaire in hospice”
He goes and speaks to them. It’s VERY obvious what they are doing is not legitimate based on how they react
Gavin Newsom must be held accountable
It's all BS. Not the suffering. Most of us would love to alleviate the suffering.
