Antifa Can Do Anything It Wants in Portland and Get Away With It Apparently

Minnesota Attorney General holding Antifa handbook

People who get their news from Pravda have no idea how much and how often the politicians and the police cooperate with the activists and rioters in Deep Blue cities.

Almost never do rioters get arrested, no matter how violent or destructive they get, and things have gotten to the point where mayors of some cities are ordering their law enforcement officers to coordinate with activists to monitor and report ICE activity to make it easier to interfere with and even assault federal law enforcement.

An example of how Antifa can operate with impunity in cities like Portland popped up in my feed this morning, and it should send chills down your spine.

Right on the video you see a man who is deeply involved in Antifa activity in Portland—he claims to be their 'president,' although how an anarchist organization could elect a president is beyond me, storms up to a man on the other side of the political divide and clotheslines him off his scooter, knocking him (and his scooter) backwards and knocking him out.

The crowd around him shouts insults at the unconscious man, and "Spider Mike" gets congratulated by his companions.

The man, who had been assaulted by Antifa thugs in the past and was still brave enough to show up to have his voice heard, was sent to the hospital (I do not know his condition yet).

What did the Portland Police do?

Abso-f'ing-lutely NOTHING. They have the video from multiple angles, and they see nothing wrong with what "Spider Mike" did.

None of this will show up in the news, and there will be no police record of the event. Even if Spider Mike ever gets arrested, he will be let go because that is how they roll. There aren't consequences for Antifa and their ilk because the power structure in Portland is deeply integrated with the radical activists.

I have no love for the Patriot Front (actually, I believe they are feds sent out to make conservatives look bad), but all they do is get together and look silly marching. Yet they are portrayed as a massive threat to the general public and the Republic.

Antifa can riot, assault people, put them in the hospital, destroy things, and brag about how they intend to bring the government down, and the media folks will tell us that they are just an idea and are just expressing their First Amendment rights.

The insurgency is an ecosystem that includes left-wing politicians, some in law enforcement (I would think not the majority), Blue-area prosecutors, much of the commentariat, and a lot of people inside of or adjacent to the intelligence community that were brought in during the Obama administration. If you think that last part is conspiracy talk, think about how many CIA officers are now moving over into left-wing politics.

John Brennan was a communist in his younger days, and ran the CIA under Obama, and reshaped it to his liking.

If you thought the #resistance was bad during Trump I, it will soon look like a cocktail party compared to what we will be seeing this year. Democratic Party politicians are now talking about mobilizing against the federal government, with comparisons to John Brown and Fort Sumter.

It's just January, and it is brutally cold in much of the country. It will get worse as the weather improves.

Editor's note: If we thought our job in pushing back against the Academia/media/Democrat censorship complex was over with the election, think again. This is going to be a long fight.
