It is always a hoax.
Well, almost always. No doubt, with millions of interactions between federal immigration officials and protesters, there are some difficult-to-defend interactions. There always are, although the vast majority of the cases shoved in our faces turn out to be a lot less sympathetic than originally described.
But let's face it, there is a hoax industrial complex that churns out tales of outrage by the minute, and a media complex hungry to tell sob stories that pluck at the heartstrings. It's the same principle that produces "hands up, don't shoot," dozens of hoax racial incidents on college campuses that we are led to believe are filled with KKK members, the Covington Kids, and Jussie Smollett.
Well, it won't make it into Pravda as the original fake reports did, but yet another story of ICE endangering children turns out to be a hoax perpetrated by parents who took their kids to a riot, left them in the car, got tear-gassed, and are now collecting money from credulous idiots who are eager to believe the best of grifters and the worst of federal law enforcement.

News reports breathlessly repeat the story told by these grifters in the same manner in which they repeated the fake accounts of the Covington Kids harassing a "Native American elder." The tale fits The Narrative™ to a T, so it fits into the "Too Good to Check" category.
The story is perfect. Mean old ICE people risking the lives of infants out of a hostility to random brown and black people. Babies foaming at the mouth, violence, and chaos from cruel agents sent by Bad Orange Man to terrorize the peaceful citizens of Minneapolis.

No doubt there are millions of AWFLs crying their eyes out for the victims, and the children indeed do deserve genuine pity.
But the pity is that their parents took them to a riot, participated in it, and set them up to be harmed because a mob was attacking ICE.

MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) - A third person has been charged in connection to a deadly December shooting in north Minneapolis, after investigators determined a woman allegedly lured the victim to the area to be robbed, according to the criminal complaint.
Destiny Bradshaw, 20, is charged with second-degree murder. She faces up to 40 years in prison. James TyJuan Moore, 21, and Tyreik Lavel Perkins, 21, have previously been charged in connection to the incident. Moore was charged with second-degree murder and Perkins was charged with aiding an offender.
According to Minneapolis police, officers responded to the shooting in the 1700 block of Russell Avenue North. When they arrived, they found an SUV that had crashed into a tree a short distance away from where the reported shooting happened. Inside the vehicle, they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in his back. The man, identified as 21-year-old Malik Smith, died from his injuries.
A witness told police they saw one man shoot at the vehicle, while the other watched, according to the criminal complaint. After the shooting, the witness saw the men run into Bradshaw's nearby apartment. Police arrested Moore and Perkins.
Another witness told police Bradshaw told her more information about what led up to the shooting. Bradshaw and Moore allegedly made a plan to rob people to make money. Bradshaw messaged people on Facebook, asking for marijuana. The thinking was "since Bradshaw was a female, it would be easier to lure males into the area." One of the people Bradshaw contacted was Lamont, according to the witness.
Of course, none of that really matters. Dollars are already pouring into the bank accounts of the rioters, more hatred is being stoked at ICE, and no doubt the liberals who hear about this will excuse the behavior because, after all, if ICE only allowed the rapists, pedos, and murderers to remain on the streets of Minneapolis as the protesters demand, everything would be fine.
It's ICE's TACTICS that are the problem. They should just let rioters riot, assaulters assault, and give in to the demands of the lawless mob!
Yes, that is the logic of liberals.
I really don't know what to say. When people decide that rioting is a legitimate form of protest, you can no longer reason with them. If somebody is stupid enough to look at looting in 2020 and declare "Defund the police," you have no choice but to write them off as sentient.
Yes, an infant was subjected to a horrific experience. Yes, it should not have happened. And no, it's not ICE's fault.
Their parents partied at a riot, with them in the car. They should lose their children and go to jail. Instead, liberals are wiring them money.
