I wonder if Moderna and Pfizer can make a mint off the new scary pandemic: 'whiteness.'
Nobody doubts that the pharmaceutical industry is filled with clever people, and the University of Minnesota, which developed the famously awful model that predicted that Minnesota would suffer a holocaust from the COVID virus. It was so scary that the state rushed through the purchase of a refrigerated building to serve as a morgue for the overflow cases that never arrived.

You see those three big lines in red, green, and purple? Those were the optimistic, medium, and pessimistic predictions from the model. Now look at the black line. That was reality.
Well, the University of Minnesota is at it again, declaring another pandemic: whiteness. Whiteness is killing us all or something, because reasons.

You see, places where white people dominate are famously awful, which is why nobody from the good places where whiteness is not a problem wants to have anything to do with us or our creations. People of pallor ruin everything, and because we do nobody comes to places like Europe or the United States, nobody uses our evil technology or medical breakthroughs, and even if we offer them assistance, they know better than to take what we are offering.
People of melanin are flowing out of these places at record rates and moving to places like Iran, Somalia, Venezuela, and Sudan. Hispanics are fleeing south. It's a horror.
Meet Gail Ferguson, a professor at the @UMNews, pushing the idea that Whiteness is a “pandemic” that is driving a “racism pandemic” in the US.

The University of Minnesota wants to make Western Culture into a re-education camp for white people, but I have a better idea.
A website belonging to the "Culture and Family Lab" at Minnesota’s flagship university hosts a webpage warning against a "whiteness pandemic" that provides "resources" on how to "halt and reverse" the issue.
"If you were born or raised in the United States, you have grown up in the Whiteness Pandemic, and you can play a role in halting and reversing this pandemic, especially if you are White because of the power and privilege you hold in this racialized society," explains the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities webpage, which is part of the Institute of Child Development.
"If you were socialized into the culture of Whiteness during childhood, it is not your fault, but as an adult it is now your responsibility to self-reflect, re-educate yourself, and act. If you are a White adult, antiracist action involves an ongoing process of self-reflection in order to develop a healthy positive White identity while engaging in courageous antiracist parenting/caregiving."
Perhaps, instead of trying to eradicate whiteness in these countries, we should quarantine them? Put walls around them and enforce strong border controls.
Just a thought, since we don't want white people corrupting the world. We could cut off the internet to places where whiteness doesn't dominate, since it is a creation of white cultures and is dominated by content from whiter countries.
Yeah, that's the ticket!
NEW: The University of Minnesota (@UMNews) has a page on their website titled “Whiteness Pandemic,” which blames Whiteness for perpetuating “systemic racism” in Western culture.

Honestly, I think it is better for all concerned to isolate white people until they can be cured. Any process of re-education could take generations or longer, and as long as other cultures might get infected by this pandemic, it may be best to implement a quarantine, as all our good liberal states tried to do. Passports to travel based on risk of infection, limited travel, and only "essential" services open in places where white people might show up.
Moderna and Pfizer could develop an mRNA vaccine for people who currently aren't "white," but are in danger from "whiteness."
Can you tell I have contempt for this approach, as I did with all the COVID madness? Of course I do. It is yet another example of using scientistic language—"sciency," not science—to make an absurd idea sound reasonable.
It's bunk. It's the same sort of bunk that the Smithsonian Institution was selling during the Biden administration.

The irony, of course, is that everybody wants to enjoy the benefits of Western Culture that I outlined without any of the costs. As the Smithsonian decried "linear/rational thinking," it was being funded entirely out of the wealth created in an economy based on all the characteristics it decried as evil.
I do not maintain that Western Culture is perfect. In fact, thinking critically and rationally and working to make the world better is a key quality of Western Culture, or what the University of Minnesota calls "whiteness." I'm pretty certain that nobody who hates Western Culture wants to go back to Africa to cook on dung, as hundreds of generations have without any move to improve the practice of cooking.
The University of Minnesota, which gave us Norman Borlaug and the Green Revolution that feeds billions of non-white people, really should reconsider imposing our Western-centric agricultural practices on the rest of the world. Borlaugh wasn't just white, but a product of the whiteness pandemic.
Everybody wants the cars, the medicine, the abundance of modern farming, all the technology and modern science, all while undermining the very culture that produces these.
I don't want a country or culture that is exclusive to white people, obviously. I don't believe that white people are inherently better due to some purity derived from melanin deprivation.
As our "whiteness pandemic" professor admits, the "whiteness" she is decrying is cultural, not biological. And if that is really her position, I suggest she leave the University and eventually the country she so reviles. Universities are a product of "white culture." The University of Minnesota is based in one of the whitest states in America, where people even eat Jell-O salads and Lutefisk, which are admittedly not the highest expression of our culture. (I like Chinese food, myself.)
This is all crap, and everybody knows it. What the people who push this want is power over us, with all the benefits of what they decry as "whiteness." None of them would trade what they enjoy in Western societies for the benefits of more authentic cultures.
Iran? Afghanistan? Saudi Arabia? Sudan? Nigeria? Cuba? Name the country, and we will be happy to send you there to enjoy authenticity and a culture free from Western values.
We can even cut off your phone and internet, and be sure that no modern medicine taints your body. Perhaps we can throw in genital mutilation and child marriage, too.
Sorry. I'm ranting. But geez, my tax dollars pay for this crap. I can't wait to leave.
