Mexican illegal immigrants are so productive and contribute so much to the United States that she is angry that Donald Trump wants to send them back to Mexico.
🚨 BREAKING: Mexico's President Claudia Sheinbaum condemns Donald Trump's attacks on immigrants and stresses:

Uh, yeah. I get it. Makes perfect sense to me.
Claudia Sheinbaum, the socialist President of Mexico, is big mad at Trump for enforcing immigration laws in the United States. She is currently flailing, looking for an argument that makes sense for why the failed state of Mexico should be allowed to demand that the United States not enforce our immigration laws.
The latest argument she has floated is that without Mexican migrants, the United States wouldn't be able to sustain an economy.
That's an interesting argument. If that were true, Mexico would be desperate to get its citizens back because their emigration is what has crippled the Mexican economy. Mexico has been deprived of vital skilled labor and she should be desperate to get the illegal immigrants back. Think of the increase in GDP.
Perhaps she is being generous, worried that her neighbor to the north might fall into destitution and become a failed state, as parts of Mexico have. As much as President Trump and the rest of America are grateful for her concern, I am willing to take that chance.
Proponents of illegal immigration, both inside and outside the US, can't light upon a single consistent message for why Americans' desire for a system of immigration that complies with our laws is wrong.
Is it because we need to be more compassionate for people who are escaping crappy places? If so, then the people who run those crappy places should focus their energy on getting their own houses in order. Or, perhaps, it is because we need to treat illegal immigrants with more respect. That would be easier if they showed proper respect for our laws--not to mention that the people being swept up by Tom Homan are the worst of the worst. They are rapists, murderers, and pedophiles.
We want them gone, and frankly, I don't agree with Sheinbaum that these particular folks make our economy flourish.
President Trump is right that these leaders screaming the loudest about US immigration enforcement are angry mainly because they have been dumping their worst citizens on the US. No doubt there are many fine people who are just looking for a better life, but they should be looking to their own leaders to get there.
Sheinbaum, in particular, is a critic of the American capitalist system. She is a socialist and a proud one. If she really believes that socialism is a superior economic system, she should be looking out for the best interests of her expatriate citizens and welcoming them with open arms.
But we all know the reason why the migrants left--they are either fleeing a failed economic system or are unwelcome in their own country because they are bad actors. For the first group--they deserve leaders who don't screw up their countries. For the latter--they deserve to be jailed at home, not here, where we pick up the tab and pay the price for their criminality.
After four years of Biden's open-door policy, no doubt many of these leaders are worried that the relief valve for their malcontents is closing. They will have to do better.
That should scare them, because none of these left-wing leaders is any good at serving their citizens.
