Democrats Ramp Up Anti-Trump Rhetoric Even After 2 Attempts on Trump's Life

It's Trump's fault that leftists keep taking shots at him.

That is the line that Democrats are pushing out this morning. It's almost--almost, I say--as if they wish that one of these nutcases had succeeded.

I would never suggest that this is the case, of course because it requires mind reading. Except that it doesn't for many on the left. When leftists promote actual violence and even murder to eliminate their political opponents, perhaps we should believe them.

What was striking to me about the reaction to the second assassin--aside from the immediate attempt to downplay it--was the immediate return to anti-Trump rhetoric. At least after Trump was actually SHOT IN THE HEAD and somebody was murdered, leftists dropped the rhetoric for a few days.

Not this time. Pundits and politicians blamed Trump for the violence against himself AND they went back to claiming he is an extreme threat to democracy. Within hours, the rhetoric was turned back to 11, perhaps because their candidate, Kamala Harris is in real trouble.

The Vindman family, including a candidate for U.S. Congress in Virginia, derided Trump and declared their indifference to his well-being. Assassination attempt? So what?

Ryan Wesley Routh echoed the Democrats' talking point that Trump is a "threat to democracy" and, as with so many Trump haters, explicitly called for his assassination. It may be that the Democrat politicians refrain from going quite that far, their allies in the cultural class, including actors and musicians (and donors) haven't been shy about wanting Trump dead. Asking for a John Wilkes Booth to emerge is hardly subtle.

So is it surprising when an Iran-loving Ukraine zealot decides to follow their lead? Routh believed the rhetoric the Democrats kept spewing. And if there is a candidate who is an "existential threat" to all things good, shouldn't somebody save the country?

POLITICO implicitly acknowledged that outrage against the violence aimed at Trump is only truly condemned by Republicans. "Republicans outraged?" Shouldn't everyone be outraged?

No, because it is Donald Trump's fault that everybody hates him. He is Hitler, Stalin, and Genghis Khan, all wrapped up in an orange skin.

You can't claim somebody is worse than Hitler and then blame him for inspiring violence. Instead, even after yet another assassination attempt the media and Democrats keep blaming Trump and worrying that all these attempts on his life will inspire violence against...somebody else.

How about quitting shooting at Trump, folks?

Democrats always claim that any criticism of a policy or person by Donald Trump is "stochastic terrorism" but declaim any responsibility to actually demonizing Trump and calling for his elimination. In those exact words.

Trump calls for the deportation of migrants, and he is accused of inspiring violence. Congressmen call for actual "elimination" of Trump, and it is Trump's fault--because Trump should quit existing.
