Earlier today, I wrote about why Jillian Michaels fled California--it has been taken over by woke fanatics and is becoming unlivable and even "demonic."

Well, here's a perfect example of just how stupid, even ridiculous, the state has become. 

BREAKING: LA City Council members have removed "No U-Turn" traffic signs in a gay neighborhood.

In their ever-expanding efforts to wipe out all vestiges of common sense, Los Angeles is removing 'No U-Turn" signs from a gay neighborhood because, supposedly, they were put up to deter gays from cruising for sex on the streets. 

I do not know nor care about the history behind the signs. There is a rational basis for wanting to prevent anybody from cruising for anonymous sex on the streets. Having people walk the streets advertising their availability for sexual encounters in cars is not only disgusting but damaging to the health of any community. Whether they are gay, straight, bi, or goats is hardly the point. 

But this is California, which decriminalized street walking and even allowed residential neighborhoods to be taken over by prostitutes advertising their wares on the streets. 

In recent months, street walking has spread to working-class and largely Latino neighborhoods in the Bay Area, sparking a wave of local TV news coverage.

What is more on-brand for California than to have a drag queen ostentatiously remove a street sign, reopening a neighborhood to sex workers wandering the streets? It is social justice! Gay sex work must be allowed! It is their culture!

California has legalized adult men having sex with minors as young as 14 and has laws that prevent minors from getting tattoos but promotes and pays for minors to get sterilized without parental consent. It even ignores court orders from other states regarding child custody as long as kids are coming to California for transgender treatments. 

The apotheosis of this movement will be Satanic festivals where transgender drag queens sexually abuse kids in the middle of the street and then chop off their breasts or penises for all to see. 

I am only half joking about that. It really is a demonic movement. Who sees cruising residential streets to promote anonymous sex as a human right, and what kind of media outlet celebrates this as progress? It is insane. 

The answer, of course, is California lawmakers. This goes so far beyond virtue signaling that it's difficult to come up with an adequate description. It is genuinely a movement to destroy all social norms, particularly any related to the self-regulation of sexual activities. All sexual behavior, no matter how unhealthy, self-destructive, or destructive to the community, must be celebrated and encouraged lest you be labeled a hater and committed of genocide. 

I don't see how California comes back from its headlong rush into cultural Marxism. Sane people are fleeing if they have the resources, but not everybody does. 

I feel for those who are being left behind.
