The MSM is beyond parody sometimes.
Most of the time it is lazy, predictable, and boringly obvious in its bias. But occasionally it becomes so ridiculous that it bears noting.
Today’s idiocy comes from a local news broadcast where the anchor and reporter were stunned by the hate crime of driving over a transgender flag painted onto the street in order to celebrate the beautiful diversity created by mutilating people.

The hate incident took place in Fort Lauderdale, where a person driving a pickup truck is sought in connection with leaving tire marks on a Pride flag painted on the road.
In defense of the flag lovers, he was clearly desecrating it, not just driving, so he was indeed expressing his disapproval. Just as, of course, the flag painters were making their own point by painting the flag on the road.
OK, fine. Given that every single Leftie in the world would defend burning an American flag as an act of patriotism, it is more than a little striking that a flag invented out of thin air by activists can get painted on the road and the MSM media types feel the need to turn disrespect toward that particular flag into a hate incident worthy of reporting.
Moreover, they are encouraging the community to seek out the offender in order to punish him. For driving over a flag.
I would call the current LGBTQIA+/- alphabet crowd a cult, but it is actually becoming a state religion, not a fringe phenomenon. This news report isn’t reporting what some activist group says–it is clearly the considered judgment of the staff at a mainstream local news channel.
This is insane.
– Paint a flag on the road, where cars drive
– Freak out when cars drive over itLadies and gentlemen… this is true oppression 😂 https://t.co/E41GHpfHmB

7 News in Ft. Lauderdale is on the case of flag desecration. Bicyclists too are defacing the flag, and we have to track down those people too.
It is an epidemic of hate, I tell you.

Why, exactly, is it acceptable to make an obviously controversial statement on the public streets, but an actual act of “hate” to express disapproval? Are the statements not equivalent? The flag is hardly content-neutral–it is intended to promote the sterilization and mutilation of children, after all.
It is not “news” that a lot of people object, and it certainly isn’t an act of “hate” to do so.
But so it goes in today’s culture. The cultural elite has chosen sides against people whose opinions are at the very least mainstream, and they are engaged in a propaganda campaign to drive anybody who disagrees with them out of polite society.
In my own state, Minnesota, the governor just signed an Executive Order declaring that non-custodial parents can violate court orders in other states and escape to Minnesota to sterilize and mutilate their kids. He sadly needed to do this because there is an “emergency” that requires him to violate the law and the constitution.
The emergency is that not everybody agrees with him that chopping off body parts and pumping children full of dangerous hormones is a cure for depression.
All this makes me both angry and depressed. Perhaps I need my gonads removed.
