We heard from Hot Air commenters about the best films of all times – and how! Ed's list got well over 460 comments in three days, and what a great conversation it was. Christian and Ed discuss the lists, as well as what makes a film "great," and why art assessment is so personal. Both of us recall some underappreciated films that deserve more attention, even if those films didn't make our lists.
Christian watched the new film The Mandalorian and Grogu, and he was not impressed. We discuss how Disney derailed the Star Wars universe, and why South Park explained it so well. Did it go too woke? Will Christopher Nolan make the same mistake with his upcoming epic, The Odyssey? We also talk about remakes, the difficulties in making films based on television series, and vice versa.
