"Full of ****" auto worker: Biden "went off the deep end" when I asked about guns

Leave it to Fox & Friends to close the loop on Joe Biden’s embarrassing reaction to a voter in Michigan yesterday over gun control. Jerry Wayne, a firearms owner, had challenged Biden to explain how he planned to take away legal firearms, a question to which Biden responded, “You’re full of s***,” and “Stop being a horse’s ass.”

Wayne, however, said that he wanted to ask Biden about his specific claims that he would come after AR-15s and AK-47s, plus his recent announcement that Biden would put Beto O’Rourke in charge of gun policy in his administration. When Wayne tried to ask, however, he said Biden “went off the deep end“:

“I thought I was pretty articulate and respectful,” Jerry Wayne said Wednesday on Fox & Friends about his interaction with Biden. “I didn’t try to raise any — any feathers. And he kind of just went off the deep end. I saw that he was digging a hole. And I just kind of let him talk for a while to dig the hole.”

Biden launched his profane criticism of Wayne on Tuesday after the auto worker argued that the 2020 Democrat wants to take away his guns.

“You’re full of shit,” Biden told him. “I support the Second Amendment.”

Wayne told Fox News that the former Delaware senator should not try to restrict firearms if he wants to win the 2020 presidential election.

“He doesn’t need to touch anybody’s weapon at all. What we need to do is, we need to concentrate on teaching people how to respect firearms and how to use them, not take them away,” he said.

This provides a fairly good contrast to the strange embrace of Biden’s eruption by other media figures yesterday. That effort went as far as to edit out the most troubling parts of Biden’s eruption, including a threat to “slap you in the face.” Here’s a close-up of the unedited confrontation:

Anyway, Wayne wasn’t trolling Biden or protesting him; he just happened to be at work when Biden wanted a photo op at an auto plant. At least according to Wayne, it was Biden who wanted to engage with the workers, including him, not the other way around. And that certainly fits with the video everyone watched yesterday, in which Biden tried lying his way out of an argument — again.

If Biden can’t handle being challenged on his own statements, then his handlers should put an end to the common-man grip-and-grins. Or at the very least, they should tell Biden to get grip.
