There are so many loons wandering the streets of the Big Apple, shoving people onto subway tracks from platforms, setting snoozing passengers on fire, and harassing people walking to work or just trying to get home.
It's an urban zooscape filled with every type and stripe of animal, from the chirpy, annoying, hustling gadfly to truly psychotic and dangerous natural predators, who savagely attack without even the courtesy of a warning snarl.
And, as we all know, even if New York's finest are available to pick them up, such offenders don't stay locked up for long, which is the main problem with the whole system.
What's even more egregious is that some of the worst of them, with the worst behavior, have made a name for themselves by attacking people physically and verbally, and have developed social media followings. This only encourages more aberrant stunts and anti-social outbursts, all of which make the average fellow on a NYC street bait for their predations.
One such long-running case has been an obnoxious deviant named Skiboky Stora - yeah, I know. Whatever, right?
This miserable, notorious faux-performance artist and rapping POS has been well known for years for abusive stunts and language directed at people minding their own business on the city streets. Stora's also had pretension to higher office, with pseudo-serious candidacies for mayor and governor, among other things, and has a bit of a rap sheet, besides claiming to be a rapper.
He also claims to be a great-great-grandson of Jamaican political activist Marcus Garvey, but the Garvey family is just as quick to say, 'No, he isn't.'
Where authorities finally got serious about busting Stora was in 2024, when he literally busted 'lifestyle influencer' Halley Kate in the chops, who was, again, minding her own business walking around Chelsea.
Her stunned and horrified video in the aftermath of the completely random, thuggish attack is painful to watch. With, at the time, 1.1M followers, you can imagine the outrage backlash.

What really alarmed Big Apple officials after Halley Kate's video went viral was the sudden flood of similar videos from tons of other young women reporting, 'Hey, me, too!' about being randomly punched in the face on New York City streets.
That makes for awfully bad publicity, and city officials wanted it nipped in the bud, like STAT.
A series of women have posted alarming TikTok reports about being randomly punched by a stranger while walking in New York, including at least two daylight attacks reported to cops this week.
Halley Kate, an influencer who has 1.1 million followers on the platform, posted a video Monday after one attack being investigated by the NYPD, saying it caused her to fall to the ground and black out.
“You guys, I was literally just walking, and a man came up and punched me in the face,” Kate said through tears in a post on Monday morning.
...A woman named Mikayla Toninato, whose bio said she attends Greenwich Village’s Parsons School of Design, tagged Kate in a post six hours later, where she recounted a similar story.
“I just got punched in the face, walking home,” the TikToker claimed.
“I was literally like leaving class, I turned the corner and I was looking down and I was looking at my phone, and like texting, and then, out of nowhere, this man just came up and hit me in the face,” she said.
They went out to find out who'd punched Halley Kate.
When they did, it was determined to have been Mr. Stora, and they subsequently arrested him. He was due in court on a previous warrant anyway, so how convenient!
Stora, it turns out, is one of those types who likes to document every act of aggression he performs.

...Stora appears to maintain ten different TikTok accounts, which were viewed by The Post and document his aggression with strangers in New York City — most of them women.
Last week, Stora posted a clip of a woman telling a police officer that he attacked her, as he narrates the video with snide comments.
“I don’t feel safe right now!,” the woman told the officer as Stora filmed on a platform.
“I went all the way on the other side, he followed me and started recording me!,” the distressed woman said, as Stora is heard dismissing her as a “Democratic voter.”
“I pushed the camera out my face, and that’s when he started hitting me.
“And he hit multiple times!” she said, pounding her fist into her hand for emphasis.
He's an equal opportunity hate-filled peach.

Last month security footage captured him following a group of people into a NYC building shouting “you’re gonna die … die Jews die” after the individuals confronted him tearing down posters of kidnapped Israelis.

But being in NYC didn't necessarily mean he'd be kept off the streets as a public menace, even with evidence of hate crimes committed that he'd provided himself. And he wasn't. Two months later, he was running both his vile mouth and for mayor again.

Now on trial this week, he takes the stand to defend himself:
“That person has hair.”
“It wasn’t me.”
We'll see how this strategy works for him.
At this point, nothing in NYC surprises me.
Yesterday, for all the diversionary theatrics in front of the judge, Skiboky Stora finally got his due.
It took the judge all of half an hour to decide. He was immediately remanded, too, so there is no chance of a bon voyage violence spree.
Anti-white bigot convicted of sucker-punching TikTok influencer, berating Jewish couple in NYC hate crimes
An unhinged anti-white and anti-Jewish bigot who slugged a TikTok influencer in an infamous caught-on-video Manhattan attack was convicted on hate-crimes charges Wednesday and now faces up to 12 years in prison.
Skiboky Stora, who has run long-shot races for NYC mayor and claimed to be the “great great grandson of Marcus Garvey,” was found guilty of assault in the third degree as a hate crime following a bench trial in front of Manhattan Supreme Court Judge Josh Hanshaft.
The judge needed just 30 minutes to deliver the guilty verdict after the four-week trial, at which Stora acted as his own lawyer and put up a rambling, nonsensical defense.
He was also convicted of stalking in the third degree as a hate crime and aggravated harassment in the second degree. The judge will decide whether Stora’s multiple felony convictions will run consecutively to each other. If sentenced concurrently, he faces up to four years in prison.
Stora, who wore a tie with his own name on it in court, was immediately remanded by the judge — and will be sentenced on April 14.
I guess, especially in that city now, they have to take comfort in these victories.
