Hamas Has Hired Themselves Some Slick UK Barristers and PR Types

This is a bold move.

Then again, if a terrorist organization was ever going to try such a gambit in a Western country? Other than maybe Germany, the United Kingdom would be my choice for 'best chance of a successful conclusion to the effort' as the sympathies and priorities of officials and the judiciary in that country have been seriously in question for some time.

What's the move?

Hamas has decided to take a legal tack to get themselves off the UK's naughty list. And they're going to use the touchy-feely, all-in European ethos to do it.

Hamas is using the European Convention of Human Rights (ECHR) to challenge its proscription as a terrorist organisation in the UK.

British lawyers acting on behalf of Hamas have submitted a 106-page legal application to Yvette Cooper, the Home Secretary, appealing against the Government’s designation of the organisation as terrorists.

It claims the ban breaches Hamas supporters’ human rights under the ECHR by “unlawfully restricting” their freedom of speech and rights to protest.

It also says it is disproportionate and claims Hamas poses “no threat to the UK people”, and that banning it breaches Britain’s obligations under international law to be “not complicit in a genocide”.

Ah. Two-fold there. Poor Hamas has had its 'human rights' infringed upon by this designation - they're 'no threat to the UK people,' you see - but unbanning them would also be tantamount to maneuvering the UK into saying Israel was involved in genocide.

Shoot, that's clever there.

The firm handling this devilish piece of moxie - Riverway Law - is British...technically. But they do love themselves anyone smacking of eau de Islamic terrorist. They'll go to bat for for a jihadi in a heartbeat. And, sad to say, have been pretty successful keeping uncivilized barbarians in the country even after sojourns abroad rampaging for Allah.

Then again, Riverway is led by this dreamboat - Fahad Ansari - whose X feed is filled with nothing but Gaza, 'river to the sea' Jew hate, and revulsion at Western civilization in general.

His page also gives you a hint where the name of his law firm sprung from. I'm just stabbing in the dark here, but you'd have to figure for someone so twisted that the 'Riverway' leads 'to the sea.'

The law firm has released a really slick advertisement for this Hamas lawsuit against the British government, which, again, considering the state of Labour and the current ruling class, is a pretty savvy move. However revolting and offensive watching it might be to the pure-hearted British citizens seeing it, this is an unsubtle call to action for Hamasholes and the legion of restless, relentless Muslim agitators across the UK.

WE ARE INSTRUCTED BY HAMAS...

So they take 'orders' from Hamas. With Ansari's online presence, it is entirely believable.

The senior head of Hamas explained - in his witness statement to the court supporting the lawsuit and the justification for it - that October 7th was a simple military operation against military targets, that the genocidal Israelis are the ones who went berserk, and that by banning Hamas, Britain is complicit in that genocide.

Senior Hamas official Moussa Abu Marzouk has submitted a lengthy witness statement to a British court, arguing that London should end its proscription of Hamas as a terror group.

The Palestinian group claims to be “a Palestinian Islamic liberation and resistance movement whose goal is to liberate Palestine and confront the Zionist project,” in a filing reported by the Drop Site News outlet.

...In his statement, submitted on Wednesday, Abu Marzouk claimed the onslaught was solely directed at military targets, falsely asserting that the targeting of civilians that day was marginal or done mainly by non-Hamas members.

He accused Britain of complicity in the Israeli “genocide” against Palestinians by arming Israel, and claimed the group poses no threat to the United Kingdom.

Riverway does tread a fine line with this lawsuit. They have whipped up a 106 page pro-Hamas manifesto for this lawsuit, packaged it as damn near a Koran look alike and put the text online. But there are a few hoops to jump through if you want to read it, thanks to that very terrorism designation.

So the pop-up from the website defending the terrorists to get to the screed they've written defending the terrorists forces you to agree that their written defense of terrorists means they don't defend terrorists.

Got it?

Nine out of ten terrorists agree and accept.

I know it won't matter to the craven appeasers in power - if they even remember.

There were British citizens murdered on October 7th...

...The report was produced by the All-Party Parliamentary Group on UK-Israel, which includes members of the British Parliament and House of Lords, following more than a year of research and writing. Among its findings: 18 British citizens were killed on October 7, the highest number of Britons killed in a terrorist attack outside the UK since 9/11.

...and British nationals taken hostage.

In the United States, that's an attack on Americans. I don't care what religion you are or what the excuse for the savagery was.

In Britain, they seem to be more concerned with the resident newcomers' feelings than British sovereignty in the ways left to them, like defending the lives of their citizens abroad.

Then again, you'd have to care for your citizens to begin with.
