Since she made sure to point out to everyone last night that she's NOT Joe Biden...
...we'll just give her that point.
She is, however, the person who said this, whether she was pretending to be Joe Biden, pretending to be the power behind the dried-out husk that IS what's left of Joe Biden, or just larping in general.
For someone who now claims no ownership of anything Biden-related, there sure are a lot of "we's" in this brag session of hers.
I think we'll give ourselves a point on that and conclude that she - THEY - own the wreckage of this wonderful economy she can be found bragging about and defending in any number of videos.
I'll bet you dollars to donuts that's why the hacklacious DNC operatives moderating the Trump hit job last night didn't bother to quiz the Vice President of the current administration about what routinely emerges as the No. 1 or 2 issue voters have in this campaign.

Moderator: "I want to talk about abortion"
That would be in contrast to the abortion issue where Muir and sidekick allowed her to emotionally filibuster damn near to the point of needing tissues and an accompanying hurdy-gurdy score from a darkened orchestra pit.
Yeah, voters have ongoing and sincere concerns about the economy. Particularly in the way the massive spending bills the VP was the deciding vote for drove inflation into a force that is still wreaking havoc on Americans' everyday lives.
Oddly enough, nary a query out of the ABC toadies.
Notice that ABC was very careful not to ask any questions about economic policy, tax policy, inflation fighting policy, because they knew it would bring out the weakness of Kamala Harris.#debate

It's probably as well because the vacuous one would have been impossible to pin down in any event, other than to blame the felonious Orange Man whom every European leader despises and laughs at - they told her so, you see. Then, breezily reassure the American people that they are living the good life under Not-Joe-Biden but are just too stupid to realize it.
A moment like that would have led to disbelieving groans across the country. Still, I'm also sure that ABC was cognizant of the fact the CPI (Consumer Price Index) was also due to be released this a.m., and the last thing they needed was for a less-than-stellar number to rain on Harris's parade.
It was probably a wise choice in retrospect, as the number was not good, and Harris dodged having one more thing to be called a liar over. Her mendacity score was inflationary enough without saying they'd whipped the beast when clearly they haven't.
Why didn’t the moderators ask about this last night

"Why didn't the moderators ask?"
'TIS TO LAUGH, GENTLE SOUL
“Despite nominal wage increases, purchasing power has significantly diminished. Antoni tweeted, “The average weekly paycheck for American families has never been higher—but it buys less than the smaller paycheck of Jan '21,” emphasizing the "hourly inflation tax." The CPI report claims a 22.6% rise in homeownership costs since January 2021, but Antoni stressed this figure is grossly understated, adding, “Real-world data shows these costs have actually doubled.””
The CPI strips out core living costs like energy and...what?
Housing costs. Those ticked up to 5.2%
US CPI drops to 2.5%, but there are reasons for concern.
— Joshua Mahony (@JoshuaMahony) September 11, 2024
- Monthly core CPI up to 0.3%
- YoY core CPI up from 3.17% to 3.19%
- Shelter turns higher from 5% to 5.2%
This release alongside the impending election and Yen carry trade concerns add up to a 25bp cut from the Fed next… pic.twitter.com/eSkoJmHPMF
Not so strange there were no questions.
She's done a terrific job.
Kick the statistically denied but street evident Harris Recession over the cliff. Withhold your discretionary spending for Trump's economy. Did the same after first time he was elected, saved spending for February 2017.

Maybe the ABC hacks saw her laughing at Trump when he spoke about the middle class being crushed and decided they couldn't take the chance of a cackle out loud if they brought it up.
Harris thinks it’s funny we cannot afford the high price of groceries, rents, homes and gasoline due to the Biden/Harris inflation. https://t.co/RRJugsSrLG

One misplaced, inflationary cackle would have ruined the whole conspiracy.
The ABC tools asking questions would rather fall on their corporate swords than risk that.
At the debate, unless you were referring to the Three Anti-Trump Amigos and their whoppers, inflation wasn't the transitory of Yellen legend - it was non-existent.
