Must watch video: Stacey Washington's message to 'My Black Community'

Stacy Washington is a black conservative talk radio host in St. Louis, MO.

Thursday afternoon, Stacy addressed her large Facebook following in a live-streamed message about the recent police-involved shootings in Baton Rouge, LA and Minneapolis, MN. Her frank and sober monologue was delivered just hours before a racially-motivated terrorist attack claimed the lives of police officers in Dallas, TX.

Watch her 15 minute message right here. Watch it right now before it goes viral, because it surely will go viral:

“When those are the least of our problems, just a few hundred people a year are killed in the United States by the police. And of those people just a very small portion are black. Now every one of those lives is valuable and I would rather see them not lost, but when you’re interacting with the police, especially if you’re black you need to operate on the highest standard… Why not be that much more careful?

But how have we lost our way? We aren’t churched anymore. We don’t understand that the best thing you can do is plug into a church and live a morally upstanding life.”

Stacy’s program is Stacy on the Right and it is heard weekly on 97.1 FM KFTK.
