Every poll and survey that comes out holds very bad news for President Biden's chances of winning re-election in November. This one is no different. Black voters don't want to vote in November.
A whopping 40% of black voters say they are not happy and may sit at home rather than get out and vote. That is very bad news for Team Biden and Democrat down-ballot candidates, too.
A new poll released today by In Our Own Voice: National Black Women’s Reproductive Justice Agenda with PerryUndem, the results show that 59% of black voters are 'almost certain' to vote this fall and 12 percent 'will probably' vote. That indicates about 40% of black voters are not certain they will vote in the 2024 elections.
That large drop in black voter support for Biden is enough to hand the election to Donald Trump. Let's remember how Biden got to the White House in the first place. He lost the first two primaries in 2020 so Rep. Jim Clyburn, the highly powerful black congressman from South Carolina, gave an eleventh-hour endorsement to Biden and rallied black voters to turn out for old Joe. Joe won the primary. That first primary win by Biden knocked out other candidates, including Mayor Pete, who immediately dropped out and endorsed Biden. He's Biden's transportation secretary now.
Democrats were right to look for other candidates instead of Biden in 2020. Too bad the good ole boy network worked against them and installed Biden in the White House. He's been a complete and utter disaster.
Over 80% of black voters voted for Biden in 2020. Understandably, they aren't feeling it this time around. What has he done for them? His economic policies and free-wheeling government spending jacked up inflation rates on everyone and everything. Grocery prices, gas prices, utilities, rent, mortgage interest rates, housing prices, and so on have created an environment where 60% of Americans say they live paycheck to paycheck.
The southern border is wide open. The Biden border crisis is deliberate. New waves of crime are infesting cities across the country driven by illegal aliens. Joe Biden has blood on his hands and the deaths of thousands of Americans from the flood of fentanyl coming across the southern border.
A substantial portion of black voters don't think the 2024 election is important. I know. How does sitting at home on the couch on election day, which supports the status quo (Biden), improve their lives? It doesn't. Rest assured, if Biden wins re-election, his administration will double down on all its destructive policies and initiatives that are making life miserable for everyone. Biden will be emboldened and his handlers who are running the White House will be drunk with power.
Additionally, 30 percent of respondents indicated the upcoming elections are not that important.
And as Biden has ostracized some potential supporters over his stance on the Israel-Hamas war, some voters revealed they have considered withholding their vote as an act of protest.
Nearly 20 percent said they have considered withholding their vote, according to the poll.
That number shoots up to 25 percent among younger voters.
Biden's handling of the Israel-Hamas conflict heavily divided black voters with a third approving of his response, a third disapproving and a third unsure.
The pro-Hamas protesters follow Biden, Kamala Harris, and other Democrats to disrupt their events. The "Uncommitted" movement is strong in places like the battleground state of Michigan. If they go through with their threats of not supporting Biden, it could cost him the election.
All indications point to the DNC convention this summer to be lit. Visions of the 1968 DNC convention in Chicago dance in my head. I was a kid but I remember seeing it on the evening news on television. It was a very volatile time. Joe Biden and Kamala embrace the chaos. Kamala tweeted out the information for supporters to contribute to the bail fund for the Summer of Love thugs who were destroying major cities and their riot violence killed people. She and Joe supported BLM.
This was not a huge poll but it did survey 1,000 black adults. It shows an interesting result as it pertains to younger voters. By interesting I mean bad for Biden. Younger voters helped put Old Yeller in the White House. They aren't so pleased with an old man who shouts at his audience on the regular.
Only 38 percent of voters aged 18 to 29 said they were almost certain to vote, while just 17 percent indicated they will probably vote.
That means that nearly half of black voters in that age group are not committed to voting this cycle.
When asked if they had to vote immediately, just 44 percent of young black voters responded they would vote for Democrats.
Of that group, 37 percent said they were unsure or they would not vote.
There is a lack of motivation to get out there and vote for Gramps. We'll have to wait and see if some move to Trump to create change or if they just stay home. There is a stark contrast between these two old men and if that comes through to them, some may take a chance on Trump being able to improve their lives. Do they stick with the status quo, an old career Democrat who promises the moon in stump speeches but delivers little for them? Or, do they remember that the economy was booming and every demographic was doing well in Trump's economy pre-pandemic? Let's hope that this is the election year that a little bit of progress is made and black voters think for themselves and vote accordingly.
