Martina Navratilova has had it with this administration's embrace of a 'pathetic parody of women’

Did you know that October is LGBT History Month? I didn’t, yet, here we are. In order to acknowledge the fact, Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland joined drag queen and activist Pattie Gonia at Stonewall.

Haaland posted a video of the two as Gonia explained the importance of Stonewall to the gay community. Posting a video was the whole point of the visit by the secretary. How else would she show her support? (sarcasm) Tennis legend Martina Navratilova isn’t having it. She is one of the few internationally known people who is willing to speak out and call the madness for what it is. She calls men like Gonia a “pathetic parody of women.”

Does Pattie look like a woman to you? Gonia’s X bio states that he is a “professional homosexual | queer environmentalist | drag queen building community for queer people, allies & our planet.” I did not know that “professional homosexual” was a job description but in today’s world, I shouldn’t be surprised. The LGBT community has two months of celebration. There is Pride Month in June and LGBT History Month in October. Why two months? No one else gets two month. It seems to me that Pride Month covered the history of the community, too.

Martina asks, “Is this a joke?

The 18-time Grand Slam winner also fired back at one X user who wrote: “Butch lesbians always faced the same derision. ‘Not really a woman.’

“We should all embrace each other. And this is a drag queen, not a trans person. They’re certainly not trying to pass for female!”

Navratilova, 66, responded by writing: “And how exactly are we supposed to know the difference? And please do not compare males to butch females. Thank you.”

Exactly. Drag queens aren’t trans people. They never have been. Drag queens know they are men dressing up as women. They are entertainers. This drag queen that the secretary was talking to used his drag persona as an environmental activist. He isn’t calling for respect as a trans person. He speaks of the LGBT community in general.

Martina interacted with several commenters. She told them that they would never convince her to change her opinion.

“Again- if protecting women’s sex based spaces makes a bigot, then I am a bigot,” Navratilova replied. “And thank you for caring about women.

“Btw- I support trans men competing in men’s sports or women’s sports if they don’t take any drugs. Trans women cannot compete against women- it’s called biology.”

Good for her. Yes, she is a liberal but she calls them out when they are in need of it. The Biden administration continues to beclown themselves with their relentless virtue-signaling about identity politics. Women, especially women athletes, have to speak out against all the nonsensical rhetoric. It is bully rhetoric – accept the rhetoric or they will cancel you is the mindset. Keep up the good work, Martina.
