Tucker Carlson: Ben Shapiro Is a Psyop!

The ongoing derangement of Tucker Carlson is as sad as it was predictable. David just wrote about his recent love fest with Hunter Biden in which Tucker claimed that it was Israel that pushed the Hunter Biden laptop story.

Carlson has a new video out today in which there is a sustained attack on Ben Shapiro. He says among other things that Shapiro isn't very bright and that it's a mystery how he ever got into Harvard. But the main thrust seems to be that Shapiro isn't a real person, he's some kind of psyop.

Carlson doesn't exactly say which group created Ben Shapiro for their own benefit, (Neocons? Israel? Billionaires?) but Shapiro's whole life has apparently been part of a much bigger plot.

In this additional clip, Carlson once again suggests Shapiro's entry into Harvard is inexplicable but goes on to say his ultimate goal was to sell young people on oligarchy and wars for Israel. But he's not doing this for himself, he has secret masters who are paying him to do it. Again, he's not quite saying 'the joooos' are behind this, but that's sort of the impression his rant leaves. Who else could be directing Shapiro to support wars for Israel?

"They" got him "into Harvard Law School" & made @realDailyWire  successful by getting the company a "deal with Facebook that no one got."

Tucker added that Shapiro's views are actually "the opinions of the people who prop up Ben Shapiro, who created Ben Shapiro.  This is what they think."

While Tucker mostly avoided naming "they" — initially calling Shapiro an "employee... of larger interests" — he eventually let the mask slip.

At 2:35 of this clip, Tucker refers to "Ben Shapiro's employer's foreign policy."

While it's possible that Tucker is being even more sinister — that he means "Global Jewry" — the most likely (and only other reasonable) possibility for the "they" is the State of Israel.  ("Neocons" in America wouldn't make sense, because they often can't get their own kids into Harvard Law, let alone launch successful businesses.)

Regardless, it is a sign of just how deep Tucker has plunged into the abyss that he believes such an insane theory that Israel (or Global Jewry) "created" Ben Shapiro and manufactured his every success.

The more troubling thing, though, is that Tucker is willing to say it out loud.

But worst of all is that he's not yet hit bottom.

Which means it will only get darker and more bizarre from here.

Needless to say, everything Carlson says here is junk and much of it reeks of jealousy. Here's Ben Shapiro describing how he got into politics.

Tucker never mentions Shapiro's time at Breitbart, the books he published (he's up to 16 now), his syndicated column or most of the rest of it. All of that undercuts the idea that Shapiro is some kind of midwit with nothing going for him. Either that or maybe Tucker thinks Andrew Breitbart was a key part of this grand plot? If that's what he thinks, he should just say so. And that may indeed be what he thinks because Breitbart was raised Jewish by his adoptive family and was very fond of Israel.

Anyway, I think there's a much more obvious reason for Carlson to be lashing out at Shapiro like this. It's probably because Shapiro has been blasting Carlson on his own platform for months, including just a couple days ago.

Shapiro and Carlson appeared to be friends at one point, or at least friendly, but that changed when Carlson defended Candace Owens' attacks on Erika Kirk. But even before then Shapiro wasn't a fan of Carlson's interviews with Andrew Tate or Nick Fuentes or his general fixation on Israel.

I think it's fair to say these two represent two poles in what is (or used to be) the right. Shapiro is Jewish and very pro-Israel. Carlson is very anti-Israel and seems pretty comfortable around blatant antisemites like the aforementioned Nick Fuentes and Candace Owens.

That's not to say there aren't other issues that divide the right along various spectrums but this is clearly one that is relevant right now and these two are polar opposites. So it's no surprise they wind up attacking one another.

For the record, I'm not personally trying to both sides this. Tucker Carlson is spectacularly dishonest and a conspiracy theorist who (like his pal Candace Owens) leans on his rhetorical skills (Obviously!) and tics (wild bursts of laughter) to get past the fact that what he's saying is often just junk that isn't obvious at all if you stop to think about it.

Finally, a reaction from Ben's longtime business patner, Jeremy Boreing.

Once you suggest -- as Tucker has at least twice now -- that Ben Shapiro only got into college because of some grand global conspiracy, you have jumped the last shark.

He either can't hear himself, in which case he's a lunatic, or he can hear himself, in which case he's a deceiver on the level of Iago or Grima Wormtongue.

Either way, if you're listening to this guy, you're a mark. Obviously.
