Some stories are simply too good to pass up and this is one of those. I had never heard of the dating app called HER, but it’s apparently been around for at least ten years. It’s a community app exclusively designed for lesbians and is reportedly quite popular in that community, both in the United States and abroad. (No pun intended.) Or at least it used to be “for lesbians.” As of this past week, it’s apparently “for some lesbians.” And those would be the lesbians who are interested in dating men. (Stay with me. This will make something approximating sense in a minute.) As Matt Margolis explains at PJ Media, the CEO of the company has been blasting out instructions for all users of the app in no uncertain terms. If you’re not willing to date “trans women” (i.e. “women with penises” or just dudes), delete the app from your phone.
The transgender cult’s efforts to erase sexual orientation continue. A popular dating app exclusively for lesbian users informed its users that if they won’t date men they should delete the app.
This week, the app sent a notification to its users, which reportedly number 20 million worldwide, telling them: “A Message for Transphobes: Time to delete HER.”
The message is clear: if you’re a lesbian but won’t date a man who identifies as a woman, you’re a bigoted transphobe who can die in a pile of burning Harry Potter books.
Here’s the tweet.

It took a little while to find the tweet for you because the HER account on Twitter was briefly suspended. They’re blaming the suspension on “TERFs.” Those are the “Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminists” supposedly exemplified by J.K. Rowling when she’s being attacked by her critics in the trans movement.
The irony runs deep in this story. The whole idea behind this app originally was to create a safe space online where women could meet and connect with other women without being pestered by or even targeted by men. If they had any interest in dating people with a Y chromosome and a penis, they would either be straight or bisexual and would likely be using a different dating app anyway. But now they are being told that the “safe space” is only intended for people with a Y chromosome or those willing to be in a sexual relationship with someone who does. Talk about imploding your brand.
The really weird thing about this battle is that virtually every lesbian I’ve heard speaking up on this subject lately (including the ones from Gays Against Groomers) has no problem with how other adults “identify.” They’re mostly focused on protecting children. And while many of them would only date other women because, well… they’re lesbians, others are free to do as they wish.
Incidentally, if you do a search for information about Gays Against Groomers you will come up with numerous examples of how the far left has gone insane, attacking them for their supposed sins against “the community.” Gay News describes them as, “former ultra-MAGA Trump followers,” which is pretty hilarious. They’ve probably been listening to Joe Biden a bit too much.
But that’s what the far left does to people who dare to commit the sin of going on Tucker Carlson’s (former) show as GAG’s founder once did. The same thing happened to Russel Brand, who is now being accused of being some sort of radical right-wing activist. In reality, he’s much closer to being a radical anarchist who wants to tear down all political parties, eliminate entrenched power centers, and return control of people’s lives to the people. But he’s on the left’s naughty list as well.
In any event, it will be interesting to see if HER’s subscriber base contracts after this. I kind of doubt it. They can’t identify which of their users are or are not willing to date men, and women can just keep using the app to meet other ladies if they wish. This is just the CEO looking for some extra attention through radical virtue signaling.
