esident Donald Trump threw shade at California’s two Democrat U.S. senators during the Los Angeles Dodgers’ visit to the White House, Monday.

Trump hosted the World Series champions in the East Room of the White House for an event celebrating their victory over the New York Yankees last October.

After introducing a slew of politicians and notables in the room, Trump declined to mention the names of California Democrats Alex Padilla and Adam Schiff.

“We have a couple senators here. I just don’t particularly like them, so I won’t introduce them,” Trump quipped, as raucous laughter lingered in the room. It turns out, however, that both senators chose not to attend the ceremony honoring their home state heroes. Spokesmen for Padilla and Schiff told the Hill that “neither one was in the room for the event.”
