Ray Evans, Breana’s father, says deputies told him the mom wanted to press battery charges.

“That’s what the deputy told me,” Ray Evans added. “He said, ‘I don’t even want to do this.’ That’s what the deputy said. ‘But I have to do what i have to do.'”

After the boy alerted school officials, Breana was suspended.

“I regret it because I didn’t know it would lead to this,” Breana said.
