Take me down to Blogaverse City, where the tabs are green and Dems ain't pretty ...
Dems blacked out the faces of these adult women to make it look like Trump had something to hide. https://t.co/KB72ChnBKd

Ed: House Democrats have been demagoguing on this all year long. This latest photo release is so dishonest as to almost amount to parody. This is a kind of McCarthyism, with a dash of the Salem witch trials.
===
NY Post: Democrats on the House Oversight Committee released a trove of images from Epstein’s estate Friday, including two shots of the president with women whose faces were blacked out — fueling speculation they could be the disgraced financier’s victims.
But a pair of pictures obtained exclusively by The Post show Trump standing next to beautiful grown women.
One woman pictured in a black-and-white image with the future president and five other glamorous ladies in Hawaiian leis said he was a “gentleman” who went out of his way to make sure the group enjoyed their evening at Mar-a-Lago. ...
The outlet reported the women were models representing the Hawaiian Tropic, the American suntan lotion brand, at an event at Trump’s Florida home.
Ed: Democrats aren't just attacking Trump with these antics. They are treating these women like dirt as well. They are exploiting these women and treating them like sex objects for engaging in legitimate modeling as adults.

Here I am on @CNNTheStoryIs saying that Jeffrey Epstein was a disgusting predator with real victims.@TheDemocrats' black boxes over the faces of adult women pictured at a public event with @realDonaldTrump in a mini photo dump is a nothing burger.pic.twitter.com/bmHg79vGNB
— Roxanne Hoge (@RoxanneHoge) December 13, 2025
Ed: In that sense, this is just a preview of the nothingburger the Epstein Files release will likely be.
===
Rusty Weiss at RedState: Earlier this month, they began their slow release of Epstein information by releasing "never-before-seen" photos and videos of the sex predator's private island. Photos that were peppered with more redactions. One problem, they had definitely been seen before, and unredacted at that.
Prior to that, the hits had kept coming:
- Democrats tried hiding the name of the victim in their redacted email dumps because that victim was actually someone who had stated under oath that the President never acted inappropriately with her and that she never saw him with Epstein.
- They attempted to claim that Trump spent Thanksgiving with Epstein, only to have to delete their post when it was easily disproved.
- One of their own, Democrat Del. Stacey Plaskett (VI-At Large), was exposed for texting the sex predator in real time during a congressional hearing, then having him steer her questioning of an anti-Trump witness like a puppet.
- Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett (TX-30) committed an all-time blunder by trying to link Republicans to "a Jeffrey Epstein," only to find out later it wasn't that Jeffrey Epstein.
And now, a redacted image of a beauty pageant hosted in Trump's own home in which one of the models said he was nothing but a "gentleman."
Ed: This is nothing more than desperation. House Democrats have had access to this material for months; the Biden DoJ had access to grand-jury testimony and exhibits too. Even if courts had precluded a legitimate release of that material, Democrats would have leaked any material that actually implicated Trump in Epstein's trafficking operations.

Republicans need to wake up and wake up fast because Democrats are RUTHLESS when it comes to gerrymandering and redistricting.
— Scott Jennings (@ScottJenningsKY) December 13, 2025
Dems are not going to hold back because some Republicans are deciding to play nice on this issue. pic.twitter.com/qQbhm6hTar
Ed: They're ruthless in lots of different ways.

Eddie Scarry at The Federalist: In an unnecessarily long article out Sunday, Times reporter Christopher Flavelle sought to recast the Joe Biden era’s catastrophic mess at the Southern border as a matter of misjudgment and political failure rather than what it really was — deliberate harm inflicted on the nation. “How Biden Ignored Warnings and Lost Americans’ Faith in Immigration,” reads the headline for Flavelle’s story. In it he asserts that Biden was repeatedly advised to get some kind of handle on the influx of destitute foreigners coming to America — though he never says exactly how or in what way — while also saying that Biden as president “seemed to grasp the risk,” but simply “failed to act. …”
Laughable. The day Democrats can be trusted on immigration is the day they can identify a single illegal alien they’re willing to deport. They don’t want to do that. That’s not their position. Their position is the opposite. It’s why a sitting Democrat senator this year literally flew to Central America for the explicit purpose of re-importing a professed illegal alien who had been sent back to his home country. That Democrats are the party of open borders is a matter of record.
Nevertheless, Flavelle wrote that Biden “and his closest advisers repeatedly rebuffed recommendations that could have addressed the border crisis faster” and that his administration “made two crucial errors.” (Just two!)
Ed: They weren't errors. They were deliberate choices. Biden and his team wanted a flood of illegal aliens and set policies to ensure it. That's what open borders means. The only possible error was in thinking that this would be popular with American voters.

Congress has no money.
— The🐰FOO (@PolitiBunny) December 13, 2025
The government creates nothing - in fact, for the government to provide for one person it must take from another. https://t.co/MdYvE8qXzu
Ed: Congress not only doesn't have money of its own, it already spends far more than it receives every year – to the tune of about $2 trillion a year. That's largely from the programs that previous Congresses have created to solve poverty decades ago. Not only did those programs fail to eliminate poverty, the debt it keeps building practically guarantees the impoverishment of future Americans when the money runs out for borrowed capital to fund deficit spending.

NY Times: The Israeli military said it killed one of Hamas’s top commanders in Gaza in a targeted strike on Saturday, in what would be the most high-profile assassination of a senior figure in the militant group since the cease-fire began two months ago.
The target of the attack was Raed Saad, a senior commander in the Qassam Brigades, Hamas’s armed wing, according to the Israeli authorities. Mr. Saad helped plan the Hamas-led Oct. 7, 2023, attack on southern Israel that ignited the two-year war in Gaza, the Israeli military said.
Hamas did not immediately comment on Israel’s claim to have killed Mr. Saad, leaving his fate unclear, but said in a statement that the attack was a “further criminal breach of the cease-fire agreement.” The group has frequently taken weeks or months to confirm the deaths of senior figures killed by Israel.
Ed: I've written about this often, so it's not worth a full post to make this point again: Hamas has to disarm to abide by the ceasefire, and have not done so. Until they comply with the ceasefire, no one should expect Israel to abide by it either, least of all Hamas.

There are a few states you couldn’t pay me enough to live in.
— Bonchie (@bonchieredstate) December 13, 2025
Minnesota is one just for the winters alone. That and the stupid skol thing the Vikings fans do.
No offense to my Minnesotan conservatives. https://t.co/SnWT7PIAcb
Ed: I actually enjoyed the Skol. It wasn't enough to keep me there, though. Minnesota turned into a cesspool of corruption and radicalism, largely thanks to the idiot that Bonchie quote-tweets here. I'm happy to be in Texas, although I do miss some of the fine people who remain in Subzero Chicago.

Off the Press: Comedy icon Dick Van Dyke celebrated his 100th birthday on Saturday, hitting the century mark some six decades after he sang and danced with Julie Andrews in “Mary Poppins” and starred in his self-titled sitcom.
“The funniest thing is, it’s not enough,” Van Dyke said in an interview with ABC News at his Malibu, California home. “A hundred years is not enough. You want to live more, which I plan to.”
Ed: Happy birthday to a true American icon! I'm so happy that he's able to celebrate a healthy and vital 100th birthday. I 'met' Mr. Van Dyke briefly at Universal Studios decades ago. We were on the studio tour, and the Van Dyke family was enjoying a private tour, but we crossed paths at one exhibit, and engaged briefly while photographing our families. It's a fun memory for me, added to all of the great moments he's given all of us. I hope we get more to come.
