Last week was filled with big stories, but perhaps none as satisfying as the hearing in the Senate featuring Riley Gaines. The collegiate competitive swimmer testified to the impact of the NCAA’s decision to let biological males compete in women’s sports. Gaines then humiliated Kelley Robinson, the ill-prepared and ill-equipped president of the Human Rights Campaign, who tried to use the Williams sisters in support of that practice. “I love her up-talking,” Adam says of Robinson. “The up-talking is always a dead giveaway.” We both agree that Gaines is a hero — albeit mainly a lonely hero at the moment. But is that tide turning?

If you didn’t catch the gotcha moment at the hearing, here’s Riley Gaines exposing Robinson as an idiot:
Dem witness: "There's been this news article about men that think they can beat Serena Williams in tennis. And it's just not the case. She is stronger than them." @Riley_Gaines_: "Both Serena and Venus lost to the 203rd ranked male tennis player." pic.twitter.com/MSAnV6IA5t

“There’s been this news article” has to be among the dumbest references to authority made in Congress. It’s right up there with “I read it on the Internet.” Robinson and her HRC organization got exposed as utter lightweights and ideological mouthpieces for the radical Left, and Gaines is the one who performed the coup de grace.
That moment provided us a lot of fun, as did Robinson’s teenage up-talking, but Adam and I delved further into the topic too. “It’s important to paint the picture of Kelley Robinson is,” Adam explained, “as the Human Rights Campaign leader.” Even apart from her previous gig at Planned Parenthood Action, Robinson exists as an enforcer for radical-left ideology. Robinson is “one of the few people in charge of the corporate equity indexes that companies are beholden to,” Adam continues. “This idiot, whom Riley Gaines destroyed, is in charge of telling some of the smartest business people in the world how they can kowtow to the Left’s woke agenda.”
Some of the most powerful people in the world seem to be running scared from HRC and other radical-Left enforcers on “equity” and “diversity.” That’s what makes Gaines a hero. “What’s really remarkable about Riley Gaines,” I say, “is that she did this on her own. I think she’s an absolute hero. I think she’s amazing.”
Exactly, Adam says, and excoriates a pair of journalists who accuse Gaines of attention-seeking. “So Lia Thomas steals Riley Gaines’ opportunity to be on a Wheaties box,” Adam scoffs, “but Riley Gaines is trying to use that to become a right-wing pundit? … The Left is insane, the Left is nuts.”
There are several more topics in this conversation related to this issue, including the effort by Men’s Health to launch a new term for ‘normal’: gynosexual. That leads us into a lengthy discussion of how the Left manipulates language to push its radical agenda and pathologize the norm. Watch the whole episode and join us in the comments!
