Behold the Wonders of Socialism in Action

Ain't socialism grand?

In a capitalist society where local government officials are owned by greedy business owners, politicians ignore citizens in favor of Big Capital.

Unlike Los Angeles, where every politician is falling all over themselves to satisfy citizens' basic needs. Just as in Cuba, the country that the current Mayor of Los Angeles, Karen Bass, sees as an even more beautiful paradise, politicians are accountable to the  PEOPLE.

How can Bass' socialist competitor for the mayor's slot compete with Bass' vision of turning Los Angeles into Havana?

By being even more responsive to citizens' needs, of course. If you need a sidewalk, she's there to deliver! And fast!

Take that, Karen Bass! Until Nithya Raman got involved, who knows how long it would take to paint seven yellow stripes? Certainly longer than the lightning-fast response of the Los Angeles Department of Transportation in this case.

Just imagine if Nithya Raman were in charge of making sure reservoirs are filled, firefighters are well equipped, building permits are handed out, and police respond quickly. She would oversee a plan put together by a whole host of NGOs and consultants to be released by 2035!

Now, most of you may think that painting a crosswalk on a street isn't much of an accomplishment, but you underestimate how difficult it is to do so on streets that are that cracked and decrepit, and how big a boost to the quality of life these paint stripes will provide to people.

How else will they be able to get to one of the many fraudulent hospices that Los Angeles is famous for? They are unlikely to be able to afford gasoline in California, which is probably why the city spends so little effort on maintaining the streets.

Besides, streets really should be reserved for illegal vendors, and Raman wants to follow the California maxim that there is no crime if you legalize something. Where else are the professional shoplifters going to sell the products they stole from Walgreens and CVS?

More than a year and a half since the Palisades fire, the rebuilding effort is going, shall we say, slowly. But that's no obstacle to Raman's laser focus on the issue of painting a single sidewalk on a street, and because of that, she managed to get it done in only nine months!

While Bass focuses on turning Los Angeles into Havana, Raman really has her eye on the ball. She knows that Mogadishu is where it's really at these days.

Editor's Note: The Democrat Party has been infected by socialism, and it's spreading FAST. Democrats are claiming there's nothing to worry about, but we know the truth.
