Demonic: Laughing in Victim's Faces

Some things are so evil that they are hard to comprehend.

They are even harder to comprehend when the people charged with protecting us, who loudly proclaim that they are dedicated to protecting the public, the innocent, and the downtrodden, act like demons.

People like Fairfax County prosecutor Steve Descano and his band of Soros-funded radicals, who, time and again, unleash predators on the citizens of Virginia.

Descano was hauled before the House Judiciary Committee to testify on the sanctuary policies of his county and his policy to ensure that his office does not charge illegal aliens in a manner that might get them deported—a policy that he proudly described on his website until he was subpoenaed to testify before Congress.

Descano has been on the radar for quite a while, and I have referred to Fairfax County's evil policies on crime and other matters, particularly its demonic gender policies in the schools, many times. The County seems at times to be run as a satellite office for Satan himself.

What brought him before Congress, though, was the killing of Stephanie Minter, who was stabbed by an illegal alien who had cycled through Fairfax County's criminal "justice" system many times, and despite repeated warnings by the Sheriff that he was incredibly dangerous and would wind up killing somebody, Descano's office kept putting him back out onto the streets.

The man, Abdul Jalloh, was, to put it kindly, a "known wolf." He had a deportation order. He regularly assaulted and stabbed people. But for Descano's refusal to prosecute him, he would have been in jail or long ago deported. In any non-sanctuary jurisdiction, he would have been long gone.

Jalloh is an illegal alien from Sierra Leone who entered the U.S. illegally in 2012.

His criminal history includes more than 30 arrests for charges of rape, malicious wounding, assault, drug possession, identity theft, trespassing, larceny, firing a weapon, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and pick pocketing.

ICE previously lodged a detainer against Jalloh in 2020, and he was granted a final order of removal by a judge who found he could be removed to any country other than Sierra Leone. This case illustrated the importance of third country removals to get criminal illegal aliens out of the U.S.

But Descano kept putting him back out onto the streets. When he tried to offer Jalloh a plea bargain in an especially egregious case, the judge refused to accept it because the sentence was too low for the crime's severity. Descano dropped the charges rather than have him jailed.

Governor Spanberger has signed an executive order that local and state law enforcement are no longer required to cooperate with ICE, repealing an order from her Republican predecessor, Governor Glenn Youngkin.

Fairfax County has a history of refusing to honor immigration detainers. In late 2025, a criminal illegal alien from El Salvador killed a man just a day after a Fairfax County jail failed to honor an immigration detainer ICE had placed on him.

Yesterday's hearing was the first time Descano spoke to Stephanie's mother, and he apologized not for allowing her child to be murdered, but only that she has suffered. Jenna Sands, the prosecutor assigned to the case didn't even go that far: when asked about the case, she laughed.

She laughed.

Who does that?

Demons do that. No remorse at all.

Stephanie's case is hardly unique. If it were, you might think that Jalloh fell through the cracks, although it would be tough to make that case with 30 charges.

But this is a pattern in Fairfax County. It happens all the time. Descano refuses to punish illegal aliens in particular, although his record is atrocious in general.

Soros DA Steve Descano let this happen.

An illegal immigrant with 5 arrests and 23 charges was still on the streets — then abducted a 4‑year‑old girl from her bedroom at 4 a.m.

A Honduran illegal, accused of trying to kidnap and rape a 4‑year‑old, should have been in prison for life under Virginia law. Instead, Steve Descano slashed charges, pushed a sub‑2‑year plea, and when judges balked, he dumped the case.

“You don’t have a justice system when prosecutors are protecting criminals instead of children.”

@VA4SafeComm’s Sean Kennedy exposed the danger of progressive prosecutors.

I wish I could say that Descano was unique, but he most certainly is not. Fairfax County, dominated by federal workers, controls Virginia's political system. It is where gender ideology forces young girls to be sexually assaulted by predators in the locker rooms, the school hallways, and in the classrooms.

Damning question from McClintock about Descano dropping charges against an illegal immigrant who tried to rape a 4 year-old girl.

REP. McCLINTOCK: I understand he was later taken into custody by ICE and deported. I'm just curious, did you notify ICE of that release?

DESCANO: We did not call ICE.

McCLINTOCK: The 4-year-old's mother had to call to get him out of your community.

McCLINTOCK: Mr. Miyares, we keep hearing from Sheriff Kincaid among others that they'd be happy to respond to a federal judicial warrant to honor a detainer request. Well, is a federal judicial warrant possible to obtain in a state crime?

MIYARES: No, it's not—and they know this.

MCCLINTOCK: And if deportation is a civil matter, how does one get a federal judicial warrant?

MIYARES: You can't. Again, they know this.

McCLINTOCK: So they're basically lying to the public. They're counting on the public not understanding that what they're asking for is legally impossible.

MIYARES: It's legally impossible. Yes, Mr. Chair.

It is also where Abigail Spanberger tried to center the political map that was just rejected by the courts. If Spanberger's map had been allowed to stand, almost half of Virginia's congressional seats would be held by representatives who lived in Fairfax County, living within 15 miles of each other.

Demonic Democrats like Descano and Spanberger prey on ordinary Americans by exploiting our social trust. Normal people simply cannot comprehend the fact that normal-looking people like them hide the hearts of demons. They trust them when they explain their "good intentions."  They scoff when we warn them that these "public servants" have evil in their hearts.

But look at the facts. Descano's policies result in the blood of innocents being spilled and the rape of children going unpunished.

There is no benign explanation. It is pure evil.
