Most of Trump's picks for Cabinet positions or vital posts have drawn a lot of Establishment criticism, but none has elicited more sheer panic than the announcement that Kash Patel would be heading the FBI.
While I am not generally of the opinion that criticism from one's enemies is always a sufficient endorsement of a candidate--after all, a choice may be bad even if a leftist says it is--in this case, I am fully confident that Patel has earned his hatred from the left in a truly honest way and that they hate him because they fear he will expose their crimes and misdemeanors.
MSNBC is in panic mode over Kash Patel, calling him a ‘threat.’ The truth? He’s a threat to their Deep State. Cleaning house at the DOJ and ending FBI tyranny is exactly why we voted for him. When will they get it? pic.twitter.com/yN1ifLPPOK

The FBI is inescapably political at the best of times, and the FBI, since Obama began reshaping it, has become akin to the East German Stasi, going after anybody to the right of subscribers to The New Republic as domestic enemies.
“Patel nomination is an affront to professionals at the FBI.”

When you explain why the nomination happened and accidentally endorse it, but don’t realize it. https://t.co/EVDS8ofHCn
So much corruption within the top ranks of the FBI has been uncovered, and so much has yet to be exposed, that Patel has the Herculean task of cleaning out the Augean Stables of corruption.
ABC’s @JonKarl not happy with Trump’s pick of Kash Patel to lead the FBI, opening #ThisWeek with long diatribe against him. Frets Trump following through on “radical change and retribution.” pic.twitter.com/5g8Ll3yfa8

The Pravda media is in an uproar over the choice of Patel, no doubt worried that the collusion between the FBI, the media, social media, and the Democrats will be laid out for all to see. The FBI ran the Steele Dossier hoax, protected Hunter Biden, ran censorship operations, helped cover up Democrat corruption, and has been on a jihad against Catholics and Pro-lifers.
Kash Patel: "I'd shut down the FBI Hoover Building on day one and reopen it the next day as a museum of the Deep State. Then, I’d take the 7,000 employees that work in that building and send them across America to chase down criminals. Go be cops. You're cops—go be cops."

Everybody in the Establishment--including Establishment Republicans--is freaked out by the Patel nomination and throwing everything they can at him. The most laughable accusation is that he is unqualified for the job, when perhaps he is the most qualified nominee in ages. While an outsider to the FBI, he has years of law enforcement experience, intelligence experience, and management experience. He's just not a political insider.
When someone tells you Kash Patel is unqualified, be sure to show them his resume.
— Dustin Grage (@GrageDustin) December 1, 2024
(Spoiler: he is very, very qualified) pic.twitter.com/xqN3pBHihn
The real problem with Patel is that his experience with the FBI has been doing oversight, and exposing its corruption from his position as an investigator with the Senate. If he was able to pry information out of the FBI from outside, insiders are scared to death of what he will expose from the inside.

So the Pravda media trots out the usual suspects--and in this case, I refer to actual criminals who got away with political murder, to attack Patel. The very people who were most corrupt are now warning us that Patel is a threat to all that is good and decent in the world.
Andrew McCabe was part of the deep state plot to take down President Trump. If he’s freaking out like this on CNN about Kash Patel being FBI Director, then Trump made the perfect pick.

Andrew McCabe isn't worried about the integrity of the FBI. He is worried about what might be found when the rocks are turned over.

Nobody is afraid that Kash Patel isn't qualified to run the FBI; what they are afraid of is that he is one of the best qualified to do so and bring it back under control.
There is an argument to be made--and I agree with it--that the US is better off with a well-functioning FBI than without one. The country is big, has thousands of law enforcement jurisdictions, and no local jurisdiction save, perhaps, New York City, could possibly specialize in all aspects of law enforcement. Sometimes, you need an interstate or national investigative organization.
But the FBI has become a Stasi-like organization that serves the Deep State and the transnational elite. It needs to be reined in, as do all the three-letter agencies. They have become political forces to be reckoned with, and they shouldn't be.
Patel was a great choice. Very smart, hyper-competent, and dedicated to the Constitution and the American people.
There is a new Sheriff in town, and the corrupt old-guard is scared to death he may expose them, strip them of their power, and, where appropriate, throw the book at them.
Good.
