‘Joe Biden is the kindest, bravest, warmest, most wonderful human being I’ve ever known in my life.’
That's not quite the mantra that is being pushed out among the Democrats, but it's darn close.
The real line I keep seeing coming from Democrats big and small is "Joe Biden is the most accomplished president in my lifetime," or some minor variation of that.
Eat your heart out, Barack Obama!
Joe Biden is honest, transparent, empathetic, selfless, patriotic, and arguably the most accomplished first term president in modern American history. That works for me.

It's weird for Tim Alberta to be tweeting this way about the most accomplished president in legislative terms since LBJ. https://t.co/8fxJC4vRHA

They’ve gone full tilt 🤣

Biden is “the strongest, most accomplished president we’ve had in my lifetime.”

I want Joe Biden to win for so many reasons — he has a more accomplished legislative track record than any president since LBJ, I agree with him on most issues, etc
But a big part of me wants him to win so everyone that’s called on him to drop out will look like a complete idiot

Democratic pollster Fernand Amandi says Biden is “one of the most accomplished presidents since the 1960s in terms of things that the country will have seen benefits from.”

Q: What do you think of Biden’s age?
— Biden-Harris HQ (@BidenHQ) February 16, 2024
Gov. @GavinNewsom: I’m a little old-fashioned. I care about results, about governing, and people that deliver. What President Biden has accomplished in just 3 years is the most significant list of accomplishments in my lifetime pic.twitter.com/P2xepz6usC
I know no one wants to hear this right now but this old man has been the most accomplished progressive president of the past 50 years.

Imagine how disgusted Barack Obama and Bill Clinton must be right now, reading all this praise directed at Joe Biden--a man for whom at least Obama has contempt and who likely is not a fan favorite of Bill Clinton.
The party of DEI, identity politics, universal healthcare, and, let's face it, celebrity culture licking the boots of Joe Biden must sting. Whatever else you can say about Obama--and I have lots of unkind things to say about Barack Obama--he was never an embarrassment or laughingstock. He had a domestic agenda I hated and foreign policy instincts--particularly regarding the Middle East--that were damaging, but he was no idiot.
He looked and sounded the part. My problem with Obama was his policies and his weaponization of government. He abused his office in a way that hadn't been seen since Kennedy, LBJ, and their alliance with J. Edgar Hoover.
You just can't deny that Obama had charisma and projected gravitas. That's why so many people swooned over him.
Joe Biden, though, is a total buffoon. He has all the worst instincts of Obama, only he is meaner, less competent, and depraved.
Obama famously looks down on Biden, having said privately that you should never underestimate Biden's ability to screw things up. (He was a bit more direct than that). Imagine what he is thinking right now as the chorus of Democrats repeat the spin that nobody has done it better than Joe.
I suspect that many of Joe's sycophants actually mean this--many don't, of course--because Democrats love spending, programs, legislation, and ideological warfare more than they like results, which are messy and don't guarantee graft.
Obama, who provided plenty of graft, was a piker compared to Joe, who showers his supporters with cash. So, perhaps in their mind, Joe Biden really IS the most accomplished president in their lifetimes.
If so, they are even more pathetic than I thought.
