As students call for the death of school administrators and trustees, D.C. law enforcement officials and the Mayor have denied George Washington University's request for the police to clear out the encampment that has taken over their campus.

The Jacobins and the Sans Coulottes are working themselves up to recapitulate The Terror, and the people in charge of our Nation's Capitol just smile and wave.

"Have fun storming the castle!"

Activists are chanting for the guillotine and the gallows, barricading buildings in the campus, and getting more threatening by the moment. And the Leftists who decry the riot on January 6th are happy to see it.

Students are bragging that they are our future leaders, and God help us, they may be right. GWU is located right next to Foggy Bottom, where our State Department is located, and famously graduates students who find their way into government. And, as you can see, the people who run our government right now are on the students' side!

As George Washington's President Ellen Granberg begs for help from the city, she is getting a cold shoulder.

Why? You know why: Mayor Muriel Bowser is on the side of the protesters, and until they kill somebody she will stand by them.

The Left is fundamentally violent and has been since the French Revolution. They fetishize violence, revel in the chants that remind one of a communist or fascist rally, and, as you can see, turn themselves into a faceless mob without the ability to stand up as an individual and think.

You saw this during the George Floyd riots when Democrats in Congress put on their BLM cloths and gave a knee to thugs who were tearing apart our cities and killing people. They called it "public health" and "democracy" in action. Walk through the offices of any group of Democrats and you will see raised fist posters--a communist symbol--and photos of Che Guevara, a mass murderer.

We are told these are "peace" protests, but they are not. They are war protests--they want Hamas to win, and KEEP SAYING SO.

"By any means necessary" is not just a slogan--it is a warning, and we better heed it.

It makes me ill that so many people I know actually think that these students are doing a good thing. It is madness.
