He/she/it was stunning and brave, running for the State Legislature in New Hampshire in 2012. A trailblazer. A pathfinder. An example for us all in how to overcome prejudice and live your best life.

They/them/she/he/ze/zir or whatever showed that if you only believe in yourself–there being no other measure of reality than the fleeting images that cross your mind–you can achieve anything at all. And be applauded by the woketariate for breaking glass ceilings or something.

Yes, Stacie Marie Laughton is an inspiration to us all. He/she is also one of the few elected officials to have been forced to resign not once, but twice from their position as an elected state legislator for being a truly deranged individual. I mean, who could have guessed that this person was a bit…off? And he/she was so stunning and brave!

This is not really a story about “Stacie,” although Stacie plays the best supporting “actress” role in the movie. It is actually a story about the voters of New Hampshire and by extension all Leftist voters who can look at a deranged train wreck of a person and see a person who should represent them in government.

So let’s look at “Stacie:”

A former New Hampshire state representative and the nation’s first transgender-identifying state lawmaker was arrested by police this week and charged for allegedly distributing child pornography.

Stacie Marie Laughton, a Democrat who previously resigned twice from the New Hampshire state house, is now facing four counts of distributing sexually explicit images of children. Laughton was born Barry Charles Laughton, Jr.

Now when you look at “Stacie’s” mugshot you think: “Yep, I can see that person as a child predator.” What you don’t see is a woman. I mean, if I showed that to a thousand people, everyone who wasn’t blind would see a man because “Stacie” is a dude. That is a dude. And if he thinks he is a woman he is clearly in need of some serious help.

But no, the voters of New Hampshire saw a woman. At least the ones who put him in the legislature.

A dude. Get it? An f’ing dude.

Now, believe it or not, there were a few other red flags that this person wasn’t entirely stable. Like his arrest records, for instance.

The 39-year-old has been plagued by repeated legal troubles in the past. In 2008, he was convicted of credit card felony, according to the New Hampshire Union-Leader. In 2012, Laughton became the first transgender-identifying person elected as a state lawmaker, thrilling LGBT activists.

“I believe that at this point, the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) community will hopefully be inspired,” Laughton said at the time. “My hope is that now maybe we’ll see more people in the community running, maybe for alderman. Maybe in the next election, we’ll have a senator.”

Shortly after the election, Laughton stepped down after the credit card fraud allegations came to light. Laughton was later sentenced to six months in jail after reporting a bomb threat to a hospital in 2015. In July 2021, Laughton was arrested for giving police false information.

Laughton won election to the state house again in November 2022, only to step down in December after accusations of stalking. Laughton had been arrested on stalking charges twice in 2022, including an incident in September just months before the election.

So let’s get this straight (pun intended): the guy is a felon, gets elected, resigns, goes to jail, gets in trouble for threatening to bomb a hospital, is arrested for lying to police, is arrested twice for stalking including a couple of months before an election…

Did I get that right? Hmm.

Let’s put him back in the legislature! And so the voters did in 2022.

Shockingly, he had to resign again. And now he is arrested for child porn charges. Who could have seen it coming? Total surprise.

Not a single red flag.

I don’t read this story and think “Obviously he was a child predator,” because how could I know this specifically? It’s not like the Venn diagram between transgender people and child predators overlaps 100% by any stretch of the imagination. They don’t.

But I can certainly read this and understand that the man is totally deranged and should be nowhere near any position of responsibility, and that would have included being near children in any way because he has a screw loose.

Yet, ironically, in wokeworld his very derangement was his superpower. If he weren’t a transgender activist he would never have been elected. He had won the intersectional lottery, and that made him invulnerable to criticism among Leftists. The only person who could have beaten him would have been a genderqueer Black/Indigenous witch doctor or something similar.

And at least Laughton still thinks “she” has a future, and “she” may be right for all I know.

“I’m alive, I’m safe, I’m well,” Laughton said in a Facebook video at the time, announcing he was leaving politics. “I’m not suicidal, and just trying to get by every day with what I’ve been dealt. I don’t know what the future holds but I do know this — there’s a lot of good opportunities out there for me to serve, and a lot of good opportunities for me to still stay connected with everyone and I plan to do that.”

Yep. There are a lot more good opportunities out there for Stacie to serve. Unless “she” “detransitions” and becomes a man again. Then he will be screwed.
