More "Republicans are violent" BS from Eric Swalwell

This is tiresome.

Eric Swalwell and other Democrats are slandering Republicans again, and somebody besides the Republican Party has to call them out. One of those supposedly centrist political commentators, if any of them has an ounce of integrity.

Fat chance.

Some House Democrats like Eric Swalwell are suggesting their Republican colleagues will shoot them since metal detectors were removed from the House of Representatives.

“A lot of my Republican colleagues glorify violence and proudly display the firearms they have in their offices, so it just makes me nervous that we could have a workplace violent event. They’re not the most stable people,” Swalwell, D-Calif., said in an interview this week.

Swalwell, who is the next best thing to a Chinese spy–having had deep financial and political connections to a Chinese “honey pot” spy and reportedly an affair with her–has a long history of making incendiary comments that have no basis in fact. Despite his dalliance with the Chinese Communist Party spy, the Democrats kept him on the Intelligence Committee and the investigation into his behavior was classified.

He was one of the Members of the House who engaged in and spread conspiracy theory misinformation about President Trump, competing with his ridiculous colleague Adam Schiff for the title of biggest liar in the House of Representatives.

Both, of course, are favorites of the Left media, and in their eyes, they can do no wrong.

Swalwell’s famously good judgment with regard to people, having been demonstrated by his getting so deeply involved with an operative of the Chinese Communist Party, is now being touted as evidence that Republicans are about to go postal?

Please.

Left-wing site Raw Story spoke with Swalwell and other Democrats about their concerns of being victims of violence. Swalwell said it was a “recipe for disaster” and Rep. Dan Kildee, D-Mich., said it’s a “frightening group of people over there.” The Congressman added that he no longer counts on a lack of “crazy” things after the chaos two years ago.

Rep. Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash., agreed with the Raw Story reporter’s remark that it was “scary” to live in a “QAnon reality” with possibly armed Republicans. Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., has played coy about whether she’ll carry a gun on the House floor after she celebrated the departure of the magnetometers.

“This is the new reality,” Jayapal said. “Unfortunately.”

“There have been increased threats to members of Congress. There’s been an increase in political violence in this country, and I think we have a responsibility to make sure that people come to work—this is a workplace—that they could do so safely and free from any fear of violence, particularly gun violence,” Rep. David Cicilline, D, R.I., told Raw Story.

Quoting Swalwell and Jayapal about anybody’s mental stability is beyond rich. It is like a Saturday Night Live skit come to life.

I rarely get too exorcised about heated political rhetoric, but last I checked the worst attack on Members of Congress in recent memory was committed by a Bernie Sanders supporter who shot up a baseball game of the Republican Caucus. The last assassination attempt was directed at a conservative member of the US Supreme Court.

Of course, this sort of language is coming from the people whose response to the burning down of American cities was to call doing so a public health imperative.

Democrats spread misinformation at a greater rate than the storms in California drop water from the sky, yet they still get treated as serious people.

Disgusting. I hope McCarthy kicks him off every committee. There is precedent.
