Michael Rapaport knows a thing or two about having a target on his back.
The veteran actor-turned-comedian has been defending Israel over the last two-plus years, becoming one of Hollywood's loudest pro-Jewish stars. He even parodied the annual Oscars telecast for not mentioning the plight of Israeli hostages for two straight years.
And he has the scars to prove it.
A local Antifa group vowed to cancel his 2024 Portland performance, putting out fliers that showed his eyes being X'd out.
Ominous.
He also had two of his stand-up shows cancelled following pro-Palestinian blowback. Last year, he made a comedy club appearance in Denver where the club hired security guards to wand incoming patrons. The club in question doesn't typically offer that level of scrutiny for performers.
And he says he's lost gigs as a result of his pro-Israel messaging. The character actor has worked steadily for years — think classic movies like "Deep Blue Sea," "Beautiful Girls" and "CopLand." Now, his IMDB.com page is a little thinner than usual.
Hmmm.
Fellow actor Susan Sarandon keeps finding work at age 79. The "Bull Durham" star is currently talking to the press at the Venice Film Festival on behalf of her upcoming film, "The Echo Chamber."
Now, she says her pro-Palestinian support has cost her gigs.
I've still had movies taken away recently, because there are agencies that are telling people not to hire me still...But that's the power structure. I think [among] the people, certainly internationally, I feel welcome.
Sarandon's virulent anti-Israel comments cost her her representation following the October 7 attacks. She also denied the shocking sexual atrocities committed by Hamas during that terrorist strike.
Now, Rapaport is calling foul on Sarandon's claims.
Rapaport mocked the actress for saying she's been cancelled while promoting a film at a major film festival.
Some cancellation, he argued. Then, he asked the kind of questions that a journalist should but never will.

And, since Rapaport is famous for his unexpurgated mouth, he dubbed either her or her rhetoric as "anti-Jewish dog s***".
Left unsaid? How many conservative actors have been seriously cancelled for their political views? Some we know all too well. Think James Woods and Kevin Sorbo.
Others we'll never know, since their cancellations happened behind the scenes.
Patricia Heaton just went public with her Friends of Abe stories. The "Everybody Loves Raymond" star recalled how she once attended a secret Hollywood group where conservative talents could gather to bond, talk shop and share stories of professional punishment for having right-leaning views.
