Three different shows are on tap for Ben Carson this morning as he tries to convince skeptics that he really does know what he’s talking about on foreign policy. He’ll be on “Meet the Press,” “Face the Nation,” and “This Week” to report back from his trip to a Syrian refugee camp in Jordan and discuss where he thinks those refugees should be resettled. (Spoiler: There, not here.) Following him on MTP will be Donald Trump, who’ll play another round of “Did I or didn’t I know that Times reporter is disabled?” with host Chuck Todd. (Spoiler: Having met the reporter numerous times before, of course the man with the world’s greatest memory knew.)
Elsewhere this morning, many Republicans who are never going to be president will explain why they might be president if they just hang in there for awhile. John Kasich will be on “This Week,” Jeb Bush and Lindsey Graham will be on “Face the Nation,” Carly Fiorina will be on “Fox News Sunday,” and Mike Huckabee, who’s now polling at around two percent in his “stronghold” of Iowa, will be on “State of the Union.” Expect some extra-hot hot takes during the panel discussions near the end of each show about the standoff at the Planned Parenthood in Colorado Springs. The full line-up is at the AP.
