One of Ace’s commenters says it looks like “Dirty Harry” meets “About Schmidt.” I was going to say “Walking Tall” meets “Stand and Deliver.” Or “Death Wish” meets “Lean On Me.” Or “Straw Dogs” meets “Bad Santa.” Violent curmudgeon + plucky youngster = crazy delicious redemption. You know the type.
