Spencer Pratt Unleashed: Of Course You Realize, THIS MEANS WAR

Well, didn't I just shriek the tiniest little bit through this big, Schlitz-eatin' grin on my face.

HOLY SMOKES

If stealing the mayoral primary in Los Angeles had the Democrats convinced that Spencer Pratt was going to slink off back to the charred remains of his hillside home until he could get the kids, the little lady, and the AirStream packed up to move to Florida...I am here to tell you, their imagined days of easy sailing are over.

Pratt just dropped a [NSFW WARNING] barnburner of a video and...um...

IT'S ON

DID YOU THINK YOU COULD GET RID OF ME THAT EASILY?

Oh, boy.

It could be a very uncomfortable summer for the Commie Couple running for LA mayor.

...Pratt dropped a bombshell claim that he has recordings of one of the candidates “doing and saying something that will make her resign in shame.”

Karen, Nithya, ask yourself, is it possible one of your employees may have a recording of you doing or saying something that would force you to resign in disgrace?” he says deadpan into the camera. “Hope you sleep well at night.

The state that the city of Los Angeles is in is piling on the pressure, too. Which, as Pratt reminds everyone, can be dumped directly in the laps of the 'two morons' now running to be mayor.

...He claimed he was saving the damning material for November’s general election, and said he’ll release it when voters “pick their demon.”

Adding that voters are now “stuck with two morons responsible for all their problems,” and they have to choose “between dumb and dumber,” it’s the “machine protecting the machine,” he said.

Yesterday, one of the people to whom Spencer Pratt had had a chance to bring his concerns about the corruption in the LA housing programs, many of them overseen by candidate Nitya Raman, acted on the information they've been gleaning for months from multiple sources.

Housing and Urban Development Secretary Scott Turner announced that his department was suspending further federal funding until LA got its act together. The city cannot account for the bulk of the almost one billion dollars they've received in the past five years, earmarked for the homeless issue.

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development on Thursday suspended federal funding for the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority after investigators claimed the local agency "abused hundreds of millions of tax dollars per year."

In a letter to LAHSA executives, HUD staff said they "uncovered evidence" that LAHSA lacked financial management, internal controls and safeguards against conflicts of interest for the $944 million it has received since 2021.

"Year after year, hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars were funneled to LAHSA with little accountability," Housing Secretary Scott Turner said. Meanwhile, homelessness skyrocketed. Taxpayers will no longer bankroll an organization that puts its own self-interests ahead of the Americans it was created to serve."

Similar to previous audits of the agency, the allegations against LAHSA included a failure to maintain adequate records for its housing sites and the misuse of government funding by paying for services already covered.

The city government couldn't answer the most basic questions about any of the expenditures.

Well, hello. By any metric but a California one, they flunked.

..."Since 2021," Turner wrote on X, "LAHSA received $1 billion while homelessness skyrocketed and fraud ran rampant. Our message to the homelessness industrial complex: if you are doing something fraudulent, you are on notice."

The Los Angeles Times reported that homelessness in L.A. grew 80% between 2015 and 2023. The unsheltered population in L.A. was statistically unchanged between December 2024 and January 2026, according to RAND.

Los Angeles gets more money for the homeless than any other place in the country, with little to nothing but more misery to show for it. And it was a central theme of Pratt's campaign.

...Los Angeles had received more federal homelessness funding than any other jurisdiction in the country, and remained the epicenter of the nation’s “drug-fueled homelessness crisis,” HUD officials said.

LAHSA is receiving $69 million, about 8 percent of its overall budget, from the federal government this fiscal year, which ends June 30. Historically, the agency has relied more on the city and county governments of Los Angeles for its funding.

'GO, SPENCER!!' is trending like a bad dog, and Raman-Noodle and Karen Bassura need to be afraid.

Very afraid.

...Hilton: "I would be honored to have him in any kind of role, particularly focused on the areas he spent so much time looking into and developing positive plans for, notably homelessness."

This certainly answers the question about where Pratt goes from here.

I guess he's not going far.

It definitely adds some sizzle to the summer, and it is sure to be entertaining with the bad boy off his best-behavior leash.

Fireworks, even, of the best kind.
