Hockey Bros Really Puck It Up and Stick It to Their Little Sister

Oh, man - about needed something cheerful and along came the Winn brothers.

'Who the heck are they?' you ask, and, well, probably why should you care, too.

Well, this is their little sister, Haley. And she seems very nice and sensible, sort of quiet. One of those cute-as-a-button, tomboy, girl-next-door type.

She plays hockey for Team USA.

She really, really loves hockey.

Her big brothers taught her how to play.

And they really, really love their little sister.

And they really, REALLY love a chance to show how much they love Haley playing for Team USA.

They love it so much, they've come up with a pretty big brother way to show how much.

So much so that they have come up with different patriotic, matching ensembles for every single USA hockey game.

How about them apples?

I can't get over how great that is.

They're goofy. They're opinionated. And they're fiercely protective of their sister.

The Winn brothers — Casey, Ryan and Tommy — may have all played hockey in college, but it's their younger sister Haley who is representing Team USA in the sport at the Milan Cortina Winter Olympics.

And they couldn't be more thrilled.

"We like to be the loudest ones in the room to support her," Casey tells TODAY.com in Italy.

In an Olympics full of foul-mouthed, showboating, anti-American freestylers dissing the colors, these guys are tha bomb.

...Case in point: at their sister’s first Olympic game on Feb. 9, they boys went viral for dressing alike in American flag jumpsuits and visibly disagreeing with a call from the referees. (They stood up and gave the thumbs down signal.)

“We kind of made some headlines for some ‘boos,’” Tommy says of their behavior. For the second game on Feb. 10, he adds, “We wanted to keep it classy.” And that they did, in matching Olympic sweaters and golf caps.

The boys have even more matching outfits to come, and they hinted to TODAY.com that the options include Olympic jerseys, cowboy boots and bald eagle masks.

FLY, EAGLE, FLY

...Casey says Haley is "almost too nice to embarrass," so they don't tend to torture her with pranks "because we almost feel bad doing them."

What good big brothers.

Here's the action shot of the thumbs-down moment.

Pretty hilarious, and it does your heart good.

And there's their sweet, kind of easy-going little sister just rolling with it all.

It's obviously not cramping her style or her playmaking.

It kind of tickles her to see how the notorious trio is raising the entire team spirits right along with her.

...After a 5-0 win over archrival Canada on Tuesday, the U.S. has become the favorite to win gold for what would be the third time (1998, 2018). And inside the dressing room, the team has taken notice of some of their most ardent supporters.

Usually, I get asked [them] in the locker room," Haley revealed. "After the first game, everyone saw them – ‘were those your brothers?’ [I said] Yeah, that was definitely them.'"

"You can't help but kind of notice them and obviously, they're so supportive," she continued. "I can't thank them enough. I know the team loves their outfits and doing everything they can to help this journey."

Yeah.

This was just what I needed.

A family that loves the crap out of each other, the Brothers Winn, and a proud red, white, and blue Team USA.

Yeah.

That's golden.
