But everyone has to admit that Nazi schtick is getting old and worn around the edges. So now that they've also got to deal with the fallout from keeping the government shut - thirteen downvotes and counting - Democrats in Washington are looking for a new SQUIRREL!! to chase, create some fresh outrage over, and this one representative thinks he's got it.
The strikes on the cartel boats. They make Congressman Jim Himes very angry.
Now, Himes has always seen Trump as a target for some rhetorical flourishes to burnish his proggy street cred. The congressman was so over the top way back in April that an article even mentioned it, calling Himes' language 'fiery,' and that he talked in 'eyebrow-raising hypothethicals' as he hyperventilated in speculation about how far Trump would go breaking the law and constitutional norms.
And this guy is the ranking member on the House Intelligence Committee, no less. Good Lord.
Anyway, here he was a week ago, doing it the right way and sounding like a rational human being.

And for the life of me, I do not understand how he made the leap. I also am continually amazed at the hypocrisy displayed when Democrats start this talk of future retaliatory strikes by some mythical US president on American citizens while experiencing collective amnesia over the Democratic president we just had who did that very thing. None of them shed a tear or experienced any heartburn at the time.
Let's revisit those very real numbers for weepy, sniveling Democrats who think this is some sly cautionary parable.

As that doesn't seem to be a Democratic strong suit at the moment with y'all so deeply invested in fomenting a civil war you are nowhere near prepared or capable of fighting, I can only hope no one takes your ignorant goads to heart and acts on them.
