All Hail the Return of Intelligence, Beauty, and Grace

I'll let you know right off the bat this is going to be an unashamed puff piece.

A grateful, kind of excited exhalation of breath written with a big smile on my face through the entire thing.

Watching my X feed yesterday was simply a marvel of...dang, I don't know.

Relief? And enormous pride.

Not just in the fact that Donald Trump was within a few hours of his second term and a chance to right four years of abysmal wrongs.

My heart will be in my throat until the oath is over.

No.

It was seeing photo after photo and video of our stunning, soon-to-again-be First Lady with our brilliant and beautiful in-coming Second Lady and realizing again how blessed we are at this moment.

The two ladies accompanied their husbands to a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetary yesterday. Melania in her solemn black cape and Usha in white, the traditional Hindu color for funerals in India.

Just...golly.

We are so back. And, by God, so is she.

The fashion designer wall has fallen, and how hilarious.

The haute couture crowd will act as if they always knew how fabulous the Trump administration women were, but we know better.

Because we always knew.

I think the Left may be in the death throes of 'Cancel Them' culture. I don't see this freakout going anywhere this term.

Ivanka Trump has sparked furious demands from liberals for the "cancellation" of Oscar de la Renta for designing the dress worn by the president-elect's daughter at a pre-inauguration party.

RadarOnline.com can reveal the fashion house is also facing calls to be boycotted after Second Lady Usha Vance was also pictured in a Oscar de la Renta dress worn for an event at the weekend.

...Nonetheless, people flooded the fashion house's Instagram page to bash them for designing evening wear for the ladies closest to Trump and Vance.

Some of the most popular comments on the post showing off Ivanka's dress slammed Oscar de la Renta for supporting "fascism".

"Fascism – but make it Fashion," read one of the most popular comments underneath the post.

Yeah. De la Renta sure embarrassed themselves by dressing Ivanka. I'm sure ODLR will ne'er make another Trump ladies' ensemble because some blue-haired binary freak that shops in thrift stores or TJ Maxx swears de la Renta is 'dead to them.'

Okay.

Personally, I'm in the 'to HELL with Anna Wintour and Vogue' camp, the hateful witchWintour's had Bashar Al-Assad's wife on the cover among myriad other vile personages and yet spurned the most cover-ready First Lady since Jaqueline Kennedy?

Trump women managed quite well without Vogue during his first term. I think Melania would have no problem freezing them out this second go-round, even as the rest of the world warms up to the idea of 'maybe he's not Hitler after all.'

What's really going to get the Left's goat is not only are these women phenomenally intelligent, glorious to look at, gracious and serene in manner, while supremely confident across the board - they are happy.

These women radiate HAPPY.

If there is one thing the bitter, bile-washed, shriveled harpies of the progressive world hate more than conservative beauty, it's that gorgeous, intelligent woman who lovingly holds her Republican man's hand - or shares a knowing, intimate glance in a most public moment - and beams happiness like the sun.

Eats them alive it does.
