When times get tough, the tough turn to Hollywood. That's the message Team Biden is sending with the stories of Steven Spielberg swooping in to save Joe Biden and the Democrat National Convention.

Spielberg was brought in to provide strategy for the convention this summer in Chicago. 1968 has made a comeback. The Hamas wing of the Democrat Party has overtaken the party and the convention will be something not seen in Chicago since the summer of 1968. If the political atmosphere does not improve, the story coming from the convention will be one of violence and anarchy. The death to America, death to Israel protests are following Joe Biden and will show up in Chicago.

Biden's re-election campaign is not going well, to put it mildly. Team Biden has decided to Hollywood it up. Enter Spielberg. Spielberg is a big Biden supporter. His friend and former business partner Jeffrey Katzenberg is a Biden campaign co-chair. Over the last several months, Spielberg has attended several strategy sessions. He offered his insights on how to tell the president's story and highlight his second-term vision.

Spielberg is a skilled storyteller but he has his work cut out for him. What is Biden's vision for a second term? He hasn't offered anything other than raising taxes on "the rich" and corporations. Biden throws red meat to the loyalists by saying he will make sure that Roe v Wade is codified in Congress. That ain't gonna happen. Biden has not voiced a big-picture vision or any specifics on a smaller scale. He just wants to get re-elected and remain in power.

The president's story is fictional. He rewrites his personal stories frequently. Time and time again he tells stories to make himself look good and they are immediately debunked by fact-checking as malarkey. Yet, he persists. Which story will Spielberg focus on as Joe Biden's story?

Spielberg played a role in the 2020 Democrat convention. He produced a film for President Obama’s campaign in 2008. He participates in Biden fundraising events, including one in December in Los Angeles with A-listers. Biden raised $15M during that trip to California for fundraising.

Maybe Spielberg can come up with an entertaining "Geriatric Park" video for Old Yeller. Anything to keep Jill Biden in the White House, y'all, because she doesn't want to leave. Spielberg has the experience Team Biden is looking for to help out.

"Steven wants to be as helpful as possible to the president," a well-placed source says. "He believes this is one of the most important elections in the nation's history."

The filmmaker is unlikely to helm a short movie at the DNC about Biden this year the way he helped do for John Kerry in 2004 and at the 2008 convention when Barack Obama was nominated. However, Spielberg has been working with key advisors on how to "convey the president's successes and his vision for the country" to viewers and delegates, I'm told.

There is talk of a mid-June fundraiser in Los Angeles which may include an appearance by Barack Obama. Katzenberg and George Clooney may host the event. It is rumored to be a follow-up event to the fundraiser in Manhattan at Radio City Music Hall that included former Presidents Clinton and Obama.

Social media is gonna social media.

As I said, Spielberg has his work cut out for him.
