Sighting Sinwar

I should think Sinwar is getting nervous. He must be hearing footsteps. According to IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari, the IDF has arrested family members of Hamas leaders who are “providing us with large amounts of intelligence.” The IDF wants Sinwar dead or alive.

Sinwar wants a “ceasefire” of the kind that will require the IDF to retreat and let him carry on his big plans for the Final Solution. For some reason, Israel would prefer not to accommodate his plans.

The success of their raids has made clear that the IDF is getting actionable and nearly real-time intel on Hamas locations and operations. How much of that is coming from Sinwar's family? I'd guess it's less than the IDF has suggested, but Sinwar can't take that chance. That means he has to be looking for completely new places and pathways to get there, and that kind of innovation under fire is tough to pull off for long.
