The argument that Israel should agree to a ceasefire just as it is in the early stage of its mission to destroy Hamas was bad enough when the implication was that Jews should just suck up what happened without holding the terrorists responsible. But now Hamas is outright saying that they will repeat the atrocities of October 7th — killing of 1,400 people ranging from infants to the elderly, raping women, kidnapping hundreds — until Israel no longer exists.

As long as Hamas still exists, calling for a “ceasefire” is saying Jews should just allow themselves to be continuously slaughtered.

[That was clear already for many of us. Now it’s undeniable. The question will be whether American media outlets recognize that and start demanding answers from Palestinian activists over what their own intentions are in demanding a cease-fire. — Ed]
