Hunter's text lament: Where has all the money gone?

Hunter Biden, who Republicans say made millions in ill-gotten gains through business deals abroad, complained to James Biden on Dec. 29, 2018, that “it’s all gone.”

The release by the House panel was part of IRS whistleblower documents.

“But I can’t pay alimony w/o Dad or tuitions or for food and gas. Really it’s all gone,” Hunter Biden texted James Biden, the president’s brother. “I can go make it up in 15/20 days I’m sure, but he’s basically made it clear that he’s not paying alimony b/c Mom made clear that she won’t do it.”

[Long time snorting, or at least one supposes. This relates to allegations of obstruction by IRS whistleblowers, who wanted to interrogate James over the implications of the money flow these and other texts insinuated, but were prevented from doing so by the DoJ. — Ed]
