What stories topped your priority lists this week? Donald Trump's success in freeing the hostages certainly was the highlight of the week, and it only got better from there. Trump announced a summit with Vladimir Putin in two weeks to potentially end the war in Ukraine -- after he let Putin think that Tomahawks might be on the agenda. We talk about how Trump's credibility on American action mighyt finally have discouraged Putin's "escalate to de-escalate" political strategy, and how a side deal with India might have convinced Putin that the time had come to end the conflict. Those two issues took up the majority of the episode, but we also talked about the Supreme Court's review of the Voting Rights Act, the indictment of John Bolton on the same kind of charges that he once cheered against Trump, and why progressives don't listen to voters.
