The Ed Morrissey Show has gone on hiatus this month until the 20th, as I am recovering from outpatient back surgery (a minimally-invasive diskectomy ay L5/S1, and nothing like what the front-page pic suggests). Meanwhile, some of our regulars in the chat room have, er, hijacked my show for today.
