TEMS: Jim Geraghty, Soraya producer John Shepherd, Hurt Locker's Mark Boal

Today, on the Ed Morrissey Show (Special time: 2:30 pm ET), we have a great show on tap! We start early with John Shepherd, one of the producers of The Stoning of Soraya M, a brilliant film opening tomorrow in limited release around the country. We’ll talk about how the film came to be made, the hurdles it had to clear to get into theaters, and the message Shepherd and the rest of the people at MPower hope to tell with it.

Afterwards, Jim Geraghty joins me to discuss the politics of the day, including the meltdown in South Carolina and the Dukakis moment from Obama last night. In the middle of that hour, we’ll talk with Mark Boal, the screenwriter for The Hurt Locker, who embedded with a bomb-disposal unit in Iraq and tells his story in this new documentary. It opens in wide release next week, but New York City and Los Angeles moviegoers can catch it this weekend.
