As we keep being told by the radicals, America deserved 9/11.
In only 25 years, New York City has gone from "Never Forget" to "Muslims were the real victims of 9/11." A once solemn occasion is now a great place to laugh it up and do meet-and-greets with your fellow radicals.

If you had told any New Yorker in 2001 that the city would be governed by a Muslim mayor who speaks at mosques filled with people who vow to destroy the West, they would deny that it could be possible. In just 25 years? With many of the survivors still alive? Their adult children remembering the day their mothers and fathers died at the hands of Islamist terrorists?
Simply not possible.

Mamdani campaigned with one of the unindicted co-conspirators of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, and anybody to the left of John Fetterman in New York rushed out to vote for the guy, and thrill to his holding Eid celebrations in City Hall.
And here he is, laughing along with his fellow New York City leftist, while the names of the victims of Islamist terror in the city they represent are read in what is supposed to be a solemn ceremony.

There are, by Mamdani's own accounting, almost twice as many Muslims living in New York City today as on that fateful day, yet he claims that all these people who flowed into the city have been systematically oppressed and subject to Islamophobic hatred, while the statistics show that it is Jews who are the real subjects of attacks.
It's a typical trope: European Muslims keep complaining about Islamophobia and discrimination, but while most of the world's "refugees" are Muslim (mostly men), they don't flee to Muslim countries. They migrate to places where they claim they are subject to discrimination based on their religion.
Mamdani himself is a Muslim immigrant. He only became a citizen eight years ago, and now is Mayor of New York City.
Some oppression, right?
Uh, no. That is a lie. Although, to be fair, they should be viewed with much more suspicion than they are, given the terrorism and crime statistics.

Mamdani and AOC yucking it up at the 9/11 memorial ceremony is perfectly in character. When they look into the cameras, they speak solemnly about victims while turning their statements to how Muslims are the true victims. They are dismissive of Americans' suffering.
Disgusting.
