Granted, the source has as much political sense as Howard Dean, but this does show the pressure being applied to Barack Obama. It’s a short clip, and perhaps Geraldo Expectorado explains how the addition of Hillary Clinton’s broad negatives prevents a McGovern-like collapse, but it’s certainly not clear at all how that happens. Does the Tuzla Dash and the Selma Miracle somehow cancel each other out?

Hillary may not want to hitch her star to Obama’s wagon anyway. Obama would fare better by looking for someone with executive experience and much lower negatives, and announcing the decision no sooner than the convention to keep the GOP from defining his choice. Kathleen Sibelius or Janet Napolitano would make much better choices and broaden his appeal than Hillary.
