Any sane person with an IQ above 85 and below 120 knew that Joe Biden's brain was turning to oatmeal as early as 2019.
Most people whose IQ fell above 125 knew it too, but many used their intelligence to invent reasons not to believe the obvious. The ability to suffer from cognitive dissonance seems to go up the more intelligent one is--rejecting common sense is a privilege they reserve for themselves.
Joe Biden's basement campaign in 2020 was designed to hide this fact, and the midwits of the Pravda Media expended considerable effort from 2020 to 2024 to convince people to ignore the evidence of their eyes. It worked for much of the country.
That was true for @nytimes in June, too. The week after the Post’s cheap fakes take, the Times lamented “the distorted, online version” of Biden promoted by conservatives, “a product of often misleading videos that play into and reinforce voters’ longstanding concerns about his… pic.twitter.com/BpzhmWa6l7

Now that Biden is irrelevant to the Democrat Party, the stories are coming out fast and furious about how cognitively impaired the former president was, but in classic Establishment fashion, the elites still shovel money Joe's way as a reward for embarrassing himself in service to the Party.
Hence, the payments to Joe for corporate speeches.
ELDER ABUSE: Should it be legal for Jill Biden to charge corporations $300,000 to hear her husband speak? It is clearly exploitive and frankly sick to continue to force Joe to embarrass himself weekly. pic.twitter.com/pxJHF6tDT7

I can almost understand corporations paying Bill Clinton or Barack Obama outrageous amounts to impart their "wisdom." Both are coherent enough to be listenable, and the fees are really about shoveling cash to influential people to smooth the way for shady deals or special treatment that powerful politicians can still aid them in getting.
But Biden is neither coherent--he is an ever-crankier old man who can barely string words together--and he is well past his sell-by date when it comes to influence. Even as president, the people with the real power were behind the throne. His was the "Weekend at Bernie's" presidency.

During the man's presidency, I thought the behavior of his family was shameful. Even though Biden deserves every bit of humiliation he must endure, I still believe that the people who were supposed to have his best interests at heart should have spared him the embarrassment of being hauled out in front of the country.
It would be like making your demented grandpa perform Alzheimer's tricks for the amusement of your friends, or making fun of a mentally challenged family member for personal profit or the amusement of one's friends. It is cruel.
But the Biden family is cruel and shameless. The crew of Hunter, Jill, and James Biden have made their living and enjoyed the high life by attaching themselves to Joe, and are using him in his sunset years as a cash cow, milking every last dime they can before Joe leaves this mortal coil.
I can't work up any sympathy for Joe, even as the disgust I feel at his family and the hangers-on grows. Biden, at his height, was a cruel man who abused his power for self-enrichment. He was a liar, a crook, and was willing to sell out his country for a buck. He deserves what he gets, and in some ways, I hope he still vaguely realizes how his family is using him and how embarrassing it is that he is being subjected to these constant humiliations.
I'm pretty sure he doesn't, though. Joe was never self-aware when he was at his best, and he is far from his best now. He probably thinks the applause is heartfelt, not out of pity.
Justice is not a characteristic of the earthly world, and the Biden family and Biden era are a reminder that this is so. Biden left a huge mess for the country to clean up, and yet people still keep throwing money at him in hopes that his corruption will pay off for them one more time.
