I do not subscribe to the notion that Establishment objections to a Trump nominee prove that The Donald made the right choice for an administration nominee.
It is possible for the Establishment to hate and fear a person and for them to be the wrong person for the job.
But it is also true that any nominee NOT hated by the Establishment is obviously the wrong person for the job. Trump was elected because the American people have woken up to the fact that our government no longer works for us, and if Trump's appointees don't scare the pants off of the right people, then he needs to rethink his appointment.
This is Kash Patel, Trump's nominee for FBI Director. The Deep State is f*cked. pic.twitter.com/cejy7hhioP

The Establishment hates Kash Patel and is the right man for the job. All the right people hate him, and there is no question that Patel knows what is wrong at the FBI, who needs to be fired or reassigned, and has the guts to do the dirty work.
Is @Kash_Patel a "danger" to democracy?

The legacy media want you to think so.

As we learned during the presidential campaign and the years before it, when the Establishment utters the words "Danger to democracy," they really mean "Danger to our power." This is the whole point of the Trump victory: to destroy the entrenched power structure and replace it with a streamlined, Constitutional, and pro-America and American citizen government bureaucracy.

A smaller, more focused, more responsive, and pro-freedom government is a far cry from what we have now, and the FBI is ground zero for the war against freedom. It has become a domestic intelligence agency less focused on finding criminals than harassing American citizens.
.@Kash_Patel tells me how the FBI protected Hunter Biden: "Never in my life...when we had a target of investigation and we said we were going to interrogate you, were we refused - not by the target, but by the DOJ. The FBI has agents visiting people to intimidate them over Facebook and Twitter posts--First Amendment protected speech--and coordinating with social media companies to censor content disfavored by the Establishment.

Is the U.S government using intimidation to silence citizens? pic.twitter.com/x3thkg12Kb
Patel will have none of it. The FBI and the entire intelligence community is hyper politicized. They label Catholics and concerned parents domestic terrorists, protect powerful politicians, and abuse their powers to go after disfavored politicians such as President Trump.
At the risk of breaking everyone's brains, this proposed reform from Kash Patel actually strikes me as a pretty good one. https://t.co/aSbjfY4QPG pic.twitter.com/5fOv1PZRMi

Patel wants checks and balances, to the horror of the Establishment, which likes things as they are. Patel has spent years investigating the corruption of the FBI and exposing it--although the media was determined to bury what he found as it exonerated Trump and implicated the sources the media relied upon to attack the president both in office and once he left.

As a practical matter, the tool used by the administrative state to its best advantage when faced with hostile forces is sheer obstinance. They count on inertia to carry them through any trouble. Place enough obstacles in the way of a political appointee, and the bureaucrats can usually be as immovable as elephants.
Patel will be no pushover. He actually knows how to fight the insiders because he has done it already as an outside investigator.

Patel is the real deal, so it is no surprise that all the forces in the Establishment have arrayed against him. And, of all Trump's controversial picks, Patel's is perhaps the most important. His appointment to the FBI must go through.
