NPR: Protests in D.C. Were 'Largely Peaceful'

They did the meme.

Good God, they did the meme! Unfortunately, since it happened on the radio, there will be no chyron to screenshot.

The gaslighting on everything has gotten so brazen that leftists and media figures don't even bother to pay attention to reality, no less describe it accurately. They pick a narrative and go with it in the belief that with enough repetition and censorship, they can convince large swathes of the public to believe that the sky is green, that Kamala Harris is smart, competent, and likable, and that Joe Biden is George Washington.

George F'ing Washington!

You really couldn't make this stuff up. It really is the most amazing thing to see.

We get wall-to-wall coverage when a kid leaves skid marks on a road painted with a transgender flag. People get charged with felony hate crimes for that. But destroying public monuments, attacking police, calling for the genocide of Jews, praising Hamas, and beating counterprotesters are "largely peaceful."

On Wednesday’s broadcast of NPR’s “All Things Considered, NPR National Correspondent Jennifer Ludden said that despite “some skirmishes with police” at events in Washington, D.C. critical of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech before a joint session of Congress on Wednesday, “the atmosphere was largely peaceful, as protesters sought to draw attention to ongoing violence” and that the events also had “a notable number of Jewish protesters” in attendance.

Ludden said, “There were some skirmishes with police, who say they used pepper spray, but the atmosphere was largely peaceful, as protesters sought to draw attention to ongoing violence they feel desperate to stop.”

NPR can get away with this sort of thing because their audience is in thrall to them, and they don't need to share pictures. People who listen to the station trust those voices, which are Oh So Cultured, and wrongly assume that they are getting an intelligent and accurate picture of the world.

The NPR listener lives in a wonderful bubble in which the lines between good people and bad people are stark and entirely reflected in race, gender, sexuality, and partisan lines.

It makes sense to such people. It is warm and fuzzy, like a favorite blanket. Red Americans are Nazis, and supporters of Hamas are good people just trying to save puppies and babies. Well, not babies, who are to be killed mercilessly, but innocent women and children.

These are the people who nod along as Joe Biden turns into George Washington before their eyes, as they cheer for the people desecrating statues of George Washington himself.

Masked Black Bloc terrorists roam the streets of our nation's capital, and NPR applauds, telling us how wonderful they all are. To give you a sense of how ridiculous this has become, NPR actually used the term "hard-earned tax dollars" for perhaps the first time ever on the station. Usually, taxes are the price we pay for civilization and...NPR goodness.

Next month, I am going with my Dad to the Pacific Northwest, even crossing the border into Canada. I will unplug from the news to regain my sanity for a week. I need a break from all this, or it will drive me insane.

I would threaten to move to Canada if Harris is elected, except that I fear I would be euthanized while being forced to listen to the CBC, which is even worse than NPR.

If Trump wants to get me even more enthusiastic than I am to vote for him this November, he should promise to defund NPR. It would be a good thing to do: annoy every liberal in the world.
