Cambridgeshire Horror: 3 Year-Old Boy Rescued After Being Thrown Into Crocodile Pit by 'Unhinged Man'

Even as some of us here in the States await the polls in the hugely important Makerfield by-election, an almost indescribably ghastly incident has just taken place at Johnsons Zoo in Huntington, Cambridgeshire.

I can hardly see for the tears.

Some 30-year-old, as yet unnamed - and that's a huge red flag to everyone - murderous whackjob apparently snatched up this precious little man who there for the day with his family, and then threw him over the fence into the crocodile pen below.

DEAR GOD, WHAT KIND OF ANIMAL COULD DO SUCH A THING!?

Ah, the ubiquitous 'man from Norfolk' did it and was arrested on 'suspicion of attempted murder.'

A three-year-old boy has been thrown into a crocodile enclosure at a zoo in Cambridgeshire.

The boy was taken to hospital with serious injuries, and is said to be in a critical but stable condition.

Police have arrested a 30-year-old British man from Norfolk on suspicion of attempted murder. They said they did not believe the boy and the man were known to each other.

The incident happened at Johnsons Zoo, near Huntingdon, at 1.24pm on Thursday.

The Telegraph understands several crocodiles were in the enclosure when the child entered the water.

The zoo claims to have 10 different species of crocodiles, and more than 100 of the animals in total.

Visitors to the reptile house are able to view the crocodiles from a raised platform above the enclosure.

I see the BBC is already using government-approved, non-inflammatory code words as opposed to describing how a tiny child actually wound up fifteen feet below where he had been, and in a pen full of crocodiles.

Where other new outlets have no problems describing the tiny lad being 'THROWN' by the man, the BBC prefers you to think the kiddo managed it all on his own. 'Ends up in' a croc pen, sort of how cars in BBC reports on Islamic terrorist attacks rampage into crowds along sidewalks autonomously.

My cynical self recognizes this as a 'tell.'

Their on-air reporting is reflecting the same.

As is the very careful language from Cambridgeshire police and the Member of Parliament for that area, who issued statements.

ENDED UP IN THE CROC PIT

A toddler. A TODDLER.

Tossed into a crocodile pit.

Oh, my God.

'...A little boy, a three-year-old little boy, who is currently in hospital, minding his own business, with his family, having a day out.

He is now in a critical condition in hospital.

What on EARTH is going on IN THIS COUNTRY?

It breaks my heart. It really, really does.'

An air ambulance was on scene, but GB News said a regular one got the tyke to the hospital. There has been no description so far about who and how he was rescued from the beasts in the pit.

I hope 'the man from Norfolk' needed hospitalization, too, but that's probably too much to hope for. And maybe because everyone was too frozen in horror or trying to figure out how to get off the catwalk fifteen feet above the enclosure to go save the toddler.

Who knows.

There is no explanation for some things in this world, and it doesn't matter what color the skin is on a soulless monster that could do this.

WHAT ON EARTH IS GOING ON IN THIS COUNTRY?

Whatever 'it' is, it sure makes you sick to your stomach.
